Heart of Hillsdale
Publié le 1 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location was very close to where I needed to be. The lock on the main entry door to the appartments was broken, so the door was hard to keep closed because it was windy.
The apartment was sweet, but in both rooms there are leaks in the ceiling and moldy smell. This did not add to a positive experience.

Dangerous situation
Publié le 12 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was not until the morning we were leaving that we realized that, some time when we were both out, that some stranger had been in our apartment.
I always parked my car right in front of the house, so it was obvious to anyone observing, when we were in, or not in.
There is no question that this occurred.
I was there with my daughter to visit Hillsdale College, and we gave nobody our entry code.
We are not aware of anything stolen, unless they looked at sensitive tax data on my computer, but it just feels terrible to think that somebody was in our place while we were out.
What they did was illegal entry and however they got the code, or were able to get inside, I consider this a dangerous situation.

Great little spot for me and my 2 golden retrievers to spend the night while visiting friends
Publié le 4 août 2024 sur HomeAwayCute and comfortable spot. Very clean, which is not always the case when you rent a pet friendly place. It I ever have an occasion to visit Hillsdale again, I’ll definitely check for availability here first

Good location
Publié le 18 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an old home with character which my family likes. Hot time of year but the place had fans and window AC. I would suggest the owners turn the AC on before the guest arrives. Location to town was great. People outside the north part of the building, probably long term renters a little sketchy, made us a little nervous. Ended up ok.
No communication with owner after booking site. I had to email to ask how to get in.
After checking in though,
Owner was very easy to get ahold of and helpful.

Very nice for the price
