Publié le 6 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt’s a little gem of a house… updated, but has the soul of a classic JT casita. Super comfortable bed, nicely stocked kitchen (Utenils, spices & oils, etc.). One thing to note is that the house is actually situated close to the main road — it’s not exactly out in the dark night sky as cars do drive by regularly. Great hosts and perfect communication.

Rustic homestead at doorstep of JTNP

Located 1/2 a mile from the West entrance to Joshua Tree NP and about 3 miles from the main road going through Joshua Tree, CA (Route 62), it could not be more convenient. The home was well furnished, clean and air conditioned. Plenty of pots/pans/cookware as well as some key spices and condiments for cooking. Two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a tub/shower) were nice. Outdoor spaces to sit on three sides of the home which was great depending on whether you wanted the heat from the sun or not. This was a very nice desert retreat.

Perfect getaway at the entrance to Joshua Tree

Joshua Tree VRBO
Publié le 5 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayA beautiful place to stay. A few things to note: the ktichen cabnets did not stay closed and the shower in the bathroom near the bedroom was very strong. These are minor points - I hope to stay there again soon

Perfectly situated next to Joshua Tree NP entrance

The house had everything we needed, was super clean and comfy, and had outdoor seating for viewing the sunrise or the sunset, having a meal in the shade, or for a fire under the stars. We saw jack rabbits and hummingbirds and heard coyotes sing at night. We hope to return!
