Publié le 20 août 2019 sur HotelsEnvironnement exceptionnel pour un séjour même court. La maison que nous avons louée répondait parfaitement à nos attentes; cosy, propre, décorée avec goût, belle vue et cheminée pour une soirée au coin du feu.

The Hotel is a bit dated and needs a refreshing. All the lights on the way to our room were off and most disappointing, the pool was closed due to an outage. This can happen of course, but any kind of compensating this, was refused. We would have expected any sign to adjust the loss of using the pool area. It is that that reception was not willing to do so. As a consequence we did not use the restaurant on our second day. This behavior is not a 4 star hotel behavior. That's a pity.

However, I must address your request for compensation for the pool not being available. As you may recall, the issue with the pool was communicated to you well in advance of your arrival. Additionally, you had option to cancel your stay free of charge. While we empathize with your frustration, we believe it would not be fair to offer compensation for a situation that was clearly communicated and could have been avoided by canceling the reservation within the allotted time frame.Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Stay away until they fix the water issue.
Publié le 6 févr. 2024 sur HotelsThey told us that they were having water problems but we could brush our teeth and shower. Ugg, the water was brown!!! Who wants to use brown water? They also said they would provide bottled water. They gave us one!!!
Dinner was fine, the property is nice but we left without showering. Didn't feel so good that day.

Hi Kenneth,Thanks for taking the time to provide the feedback.The issues regarding the water were conveyed to every guest as soon as we came to know about the problem and gave an option to either cancel their stay without penalty or reschedule without extra charges.As you decided to stay, we offered you to use the water from minibar apart from an extra water bottle placed in the room.If you needed more, it was just a call away as our Restaurant Staff or Night Manager would have dropped it in your room.I understand water is an essential commodity and that's why we gave heads up to all of our incoming guest to avoid dissatisfaction and disappointment.We always give priority to comfort and satisfaction to all of our guests and try our best to make their stay memorable in a positive way.

We set ourselves a high level to work to, and we will be addressing this with our team. The impact of the COVID years and consequential outcomes has meant Carrington Estate has been relatively isolated at many levels, combined with factors out of our hands such as government actions around hospitality and immigration, and the current economic factors. We have admittedly faced a bit of a struggle to deliver to that high standard we set, especially around this time of year when the area sees its highest visitor numbers over the Christmas and New Years period. It is always our intention to offer the best guest experience, and we hope that one day you are open to coming back and truly encounter a wonderful experience with us.
