Just right for our group
Came to town for a class reunion and needed space for my husband and I and a friend. This house was perfect. We weren’t on top of each other, had room to spread out and relax. Evan, the host, couldn’t have been better, super responsive to all my questions. The house is in an older quiet neighborhood and only a mile from downtown.

Really cute, comfortable house, plenty of room, great location near Kent State, shopping and dining. Nice kitchen had all the appliances! Each bedroom has both a closet and a dresser! Host was very responsive.

We were in town for our sons graduation at Kent State. This was an ideal property and location for our family. We were able to walk to the ceremony and didn’t need the hassle of parking or crowds. The property was clean and spacious as well, highly recommend this home.

Convenient to Everything
We came in for the weekend for activities at the university. The house was on a quiet street as promised and within walking distance or a short drive (5 minutes) of the university. Everything was clean and neat. Check-in and out was simple. We mostly ate out, but appreciated the coffee to help get us started. Thank you for providing comfortable accommodations. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Weary travelers welcome home
After a long drive to Kent to drop off our student for school, this house was the perfect location, welcoming, and clean! You can walk to campus if you'd like. The neighbors were delightful. The home was newly renovated and had everything updated and new. The property owner was very accommodating. Cuyahoga Falls National Park is right there and a little further up was Cleveland. We just had a fantastic visit and a great place to stay at the end of a fun-filled day.

Groundhog house
Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We were frequently visited by a pair of groundhogs who were eating apples from the neighbors tree and snoozing. We are originally from the Akron area and thus surrounded with memories. The communication was fabulous with us. Check in a breeze. Home was quaint and historical. Creaky hardwood floors and slanted roofs gave us that 1930’s experience. Bathrooms and kitchen had been updated! I would make a few recommendations: -safety/grab bars and slip free pads in shower-I feared my elderly Mom would fall. -better stocked kitchen-we cooked for two family reunions and it was a challenge with limited supplies -first step on porch is high for older people; maybe add a smaller step up platform. -blankets; we could not find any. A/c was powerful and we got chilly. Blankets would have helped! -I would also suggest nighstands with electrical included. House is older and outlets are limited. Usb and outlets in night stands would assist with that. Thank you for opening your home and allowing us to share so many memories. As a graduate of Akron U, it was fun being so close to Kent State U!

Cute and perfect location in Kent, Ohio!
Cute and perfect location! We stayed here for one month while visiting family who lives in the area. Ideal space for a family. Lots of cute wildlife; we saw a deer daily and groundhogs, which my daughter loved. Downtown is within walking distance, and Kent State is literally door. Quiet neighbors. Great internet. My only issue was I wish there were more kitchen appliances, a perfect amount for a short stay but not for extended.

Beautiful house in the heart of Kent
My family and I really enjoyed our weekend stay in Kent. This house is beautifully renovated and fit 4 adults and 2 kids perfectly! The bedrooms were large for an older house, and had plenty of storage space with dressers and closets. This house is in such a convenient location! We were able to walk to a cute coffee shop and breakfast place both mornings. We would all highly recommend this host and house for anyone looking for a place to stay in Kent :)
