Fantastic location in the Lake District

The lodge was spacious and comfortable---well equipped for everything we needed for our three night stay. It was in a great setting, just yards from the water and very quiet. It was well located for visiting other areas of the Lake District, including restaurants and a distillery close by and the market town of Keswick and Derwentwater about 15 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip to the Lake District.

Peaceful and perfect
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds.
Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure!

Fabulous - we will be back
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere is nothing I would fault about the lodge, the location, or the whole weekend. We were very lucky with the weather, so we’re able to take advantage of sitting outside with the fabulous view of lake and hills beyond.
Although the lodge is situated on the path down to the lake, it was still quiet enough not to be an issue.
The lodge itself was a great size, with everything you need, and was lovely and clean.
All in all, a fabulous break and we will definitely return.

Fab lodge in a beautiful area

Everything was high quality, bedrooms and bathrooms spacious, beds really comfortable, big verandah (we didn’t have our dogs but it would’ve worked really well for them) and a really quiet park. Lots of midges around in the evening, but it was very rainy, so just be prepared for that. Highly recommend - thanks so much!

Peaceful and beautiful location

We came up to Keswick for Brew for Moo and we would normally have stayed in Keswick but it’s a bit peopley right now and needed some chill time and this is just perfect. It has everything that you need . The dogs loved it too and settled quickly. We will definitely be back.

Almost too perfect to share with others
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis little spot in The Lakes is a little haven and a hidden gem I’m almost tempted not to share, as it’s a place you want the keep as a personal treasure. It’s peaceful and beautiful. We loved swimming in the lake at sunset. The accommodation was immaculate and we just barbecued in the evenings. Julie was an attentive host who responded immediately to all communication. We will certainly be back next year.

The site is very quiet and peaceful and there is a nice view of the lake from the lodge.
