Wonderful Retreat, Play, Relax Space!
Publié le 15 août 2023 sur HomeAwayI (just me!) brought 6 older teens for annual Lagoon Amusement Park trip. We all loved this VRBO house. Fluffy comfort without pretense. Every bed was so comfortable, with fuzzy pillows and blankets everywhere, and great mattresses. The teens loved the ping pong table downstairs, and the cool recessed living room for gaming. We all loved the patio and hot tub. I am a hot tub snob. This one was clean, large, with lots of adjustable jets, and everything worked. Plus a bonus shower+ experience in the master. Thank you for making our already-fun getaway a comfortable and fun place to retreat to at night!

Nice for what we needed
Publié le 20 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice for what we needed. Everyone had a bed and we didn't feel on top of each other like in a hotel. We did run into a few issues during our stay. We arrived to find there was a leak with the hot tub that required us to do an extra step if we wanted to use it. We also were informed that the fireplace was not to be used because something wasn't working properly. The fan in one of the adult bedrooms would only work if the light was on--making use while we were sleeping impossible. I informed the VRBO contact and she said she was not aware of the issue. . .strange considering the entire pull cord for the fan was missing. She did offer a solution and said we could use fans provided in one of the closets. I only found 2 small fans no bigger than my hands and the plugs to hook the USB cord for them were missing, so we were warm most of the night. One of the bathrooms tubs wouldn't drain very well, the VRBO contact said they hadn't been aware of the issue and would take care of it. Also, when we arrived to the non smoking house we found a cigarette butt on the front walk and the patio furniture in the back smelled like cigarette smoke. The VRBO contact told me they had just been there hours earlier and had not noticed such things-- seems to be a consistent thing which was starting to not quite add up to me. . . Anyways, all in all, the house worked for our needs, but could use a little TLC to fix up some of the older/problematic parts of the house.

Loved the property and atmosphere

Kitchen floor was not clean along with the Keurig coffee maker. More in depth instructions on outdoor timer for gas fireplace needed. When we arrived, I went out and swept the patio area as I didn’t want us tracking in debris. Lawn and outdoor area needs a little more love. I am grateful for such an amazing “healing” space, which is why I chose this property.

Maureen, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
- We take cleanliness very seriously and our cleaners do a wonderful job, they always sweep and mom the floors very well. We know how easy it is to track in dirt, but the cleaners make sure that the floors are all very well done and guest ready.
- When the cleaner is there they will close off the back patio and no matter how many times they clean the patio 5 minutes later there are new leaves on the ground. Mother nature has a way of messing with us, and the trees add a lot of beauty to the yard of our property.
- We will look at the instructions for the fireplace and update is needed.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

Good place bad property managment
Publié le 31 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThe place was great. After we stayed I did not pay close enough attention to check out time and we were there too long which meant we had to pay another day. That stunk but my fault. However 1 week later the property managment evolve, charged us again for the added night. I believe they do this a lot and hope people do not notice. My husband did notice and it took 40 min on the phone to get them to remove the added charge. They could see we already paid the penalty night and just charged again. SO WRONG I hate stuff like that. I will not use another property that uses evolve in the future.

Communication is important to us and we're sorry about any inconvenience and misunderstanding. As stated in the pre-stay email, our check-out time is at 10am so when we discovered your belongings were still in the home, we followed the rental agreement of your booking and had Evolve charge you for that additional night. The belongings were found in the home over an hour after checkout with no communication from you and we attempted to contact you every way we could. We didn’t receive any contact from you until almost 3:30pm. In addition, the housekeeping had to return another day, so the charge was to compensate for this inconvenience to everyone one Mothers day. We understand the frustration and concern with the second charge and we shared how sorry we were. Evolve takes full responsibility and ensured to refund you for that second charge as they recognized the error. We will continue to receive glowing 5-star reviews as we do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Lots of Fun

Beutiful but

From the Owner: Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We have a professional short-term rental housekeeper clean and she checks every drawer every time she cleans. She didn’t find any bugs or she would have cleaned them out. Also, I personally walked through the entire home inspecting it with another lady right before your check-in time. We did not see any trash on the floor. Our housekeeping is exceptional and would never leave trash on the floor.

Wonderful

The patio was great, we had a couple family dinners out there. We did fix the braces on the picnic table and the hot tub water needs to be changed. Overall, a wonderful experience! Thank you

Great location and quiet

The home is exactly as described and was perfect for my mom, sister and I for a sewing retreat. It was perfect weather and we were able to utilize the deck and patio . The owners of this property have taken pride in making sure that the house is kept up.
