The bustling market town of Leyburn is 6 miles away, with an array of restaurants, cafés, pubs and two supermarkets. The village of Middleham, 4 miles, also boasts several pubs, restaurants and a well-stocked local shop. It is a lovely village renowned for its famous racing stables, ’The Gallops’, and its Norman castle which dates back to 1190.
