The girl who called us was helpful in booking us in elsewhere so all not lost. 1 star provided as unable to give actual review. Where we did say said it's been shut a while and unlikely to open so be careful when booking

The radiator in the room didn't work. I went to see the staff, and the boiler wasn't switched on, which is very strange for January !!. The boiler was on but the radiator didn't work on either day of my visit. 2 heaters were provided, but the person in charge wasn't aware of the issue with the boiler/radiator, which was poor in my view.

Publié le 6 janv. 2024 sur HotelsThis place did not live up to previous reviews. The building was dilapidated. The wallpaper was ripped. The room was small with very old furnishings snd furniture. You had to walk through a tiny kitchen to access the rooms. It was very noisy. If somebody used a tap the whole building could hear it. We finally got to sleep at 4.00am. We didn’t want to eat our evening meal there and so went to the pub next door. Breakfast was limited. Cereal was corn flakes or muesli not much choice. Definitely not value for money.

The room was small you had to close the door to get past the bed and there was no remote for the TV. but it was clean and the staff was very pleasant and professional.
I would stay again.
