The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and our room was very quiet with a comfortable bed. There were some issues with getting the room cleaned as it seemed they were short staffed for house keeping. Also, the shower was very small and short. This hotel is very conveniently located across from the Gloucester Square tube stop.

The room was quite filthy. The curtains had stains and food? all over them. The couch had vomit or food or semen all over it in multiple areas it was absolutely atrocious. The general cleanliness of the room was below standard as there was a lot of built up debris along the baseboards. We took out the tub mat to prevent slipping in the tub and it was covered in hair. Overall it was quite disgusting. We were not offered another room just that they would clean the couch. Which they did, albeit poorly. We ended up having to all for a blanket to cover the couch so we could use it.

The location is fantastic - literally across the street from Gloucester rd station and a waitrose supermarket. The room was small but comfortable and it was nice to have a nespresso maker and a refrigerator.

This hotel has always been one of the best in this area. Service has slowly got a bit poor, but staff are generally responsive. Rooms are small but an upgraded room gives you more comfort.

Great experience

Older hotel so corridors are long and convoluted with few lifts but we had a large room on 4th floor and were very happy. Quiet and much more comfortable than most London hotels we have stayed in. Super happy with the value. Location was great. Underground straight in from Heathrow to within 100 yards. Transport connections were great to everywhere we went (both business and pleasure). Tesco and Boots within 100 yards were useful for a 5 day stay. Pizza Express next door was easy and better than expected.

Perfectly ok but not as good as normal

Excellent staff and breakfast. Got a super early check in but unfortunately to a room with a lot of noise, lukewarm water and not a pristine bathroom. All in all ok but not as good as in the past.

I was charged 150 GBP as 'early check in’ charges for getting a room 2 hours prior to the standard check in time. I was not offered an explanation or an invoice on checking out. I haven't managed to get one, despite talking personally to the reception manager, calling up the next day and writing to the hotel. Disgraceful behavior by Radisson Blu, South Kensington
