Appartement très bien situé et agréable ! Accueil de Marie-Pierre très sympathique et chaleureux ! Un séjour pour nouvel an à Madrid a refaire !

Thank you Garret, I appreciate your review and will take it into account. Although what matters is invisible, good quality beds, broadband fiber wifi, strong insurance, quick service when necessary.

Fin de semana en Madrid

La ubicación es perfecta , a 5 minutos de Gran Vía y el centro. En cuanto al apartamento tuvimos problema con las duchas ya que estaban atascadas. Se lo comunicamos a la propietaria y al ser finde semana no nos lo solucionaron, las puertas de las habitaciones no funcionaban muy bien y las persianas tampoco. Por lo demás , el apartamento está "relativamente" bien.

El fontanero de Mapfre vino el domingo por la tarde, dentro de su contrato de mantenimiento con la propiedad. Desatasco sencillamente. Las puertas son correderas, no cierran con una manillar propiamente dicho. son puertas de diseño que encajan una en otra. El apartamento está mantenido con contrato de seguro Mapfre y Línea blanca. La intervención en 24 h es aceptable además siendo un fin de semana. Las inquilinas se olvidaron pertenencias, las mandamos por mensajeria. No recibimos agradecimiento ni acuse de recibo ninguno. la verdad es que este tipo de comentario no es constructivo.

Bien para un fin de semana en el centro.

Alojamiento muy bien ubicado y el sistema de entrada es bastante cómodo, sobre todo cuando hay varios huéspedes, aunque a nosotros nos falló en par de ocasiones por lo general muy bien, El apartamento es pequeño pero bien distribuido. No hay camas, solo sofá-cama que no son cómodos. Hay dos duchas pero no puedes usarlas a la vez pues te quedas sin presión de agua, además los desagües no iban muy bien. El piso estaba bastante sucio, mucho polvo y si se te caía algo al suelo...y las toallas bastante descuidadas. Se olvidaron de dejar más papel de baño. Y eso que el precio de la limpieza no era barato. Nada más llegar al sentarnos en el sofá del salón se hundió, ya estaba roto, la host nos ofreció una alternativa, pero no hizo falta pues había hueco de sobra para los que éramos. La cama del altillo es más bien de decoración, ninguno se atrevió a usarla por lo pequeño que es el espacio. Por lo general Marie, la anfitriona muy amable y atenta, eso si, la chica que nos recibió y se encargaba de la limpieza no hablaba nada de español y era imposible comunicarse con ella. Repetiría para lo mismo, fin de semana con amigos por la ubicación y precio.

Hola Luis. Gracias por el review. No pagaste limpieza. Pagas una persona que hace el ckeck in and.out y está pendiente durante la entrada y estancia. Esto está claramente explicado en el contrato de arrendamiento que firmaste y deja claras las responsabilidades de cada parte. La.limpieza está incluida en el alquiler. En cuanto a las observaciones sobre limpieza, confirmaste al llegar que dabas tu visto bueno, se te preguntó proactivamente. En cuanto a tus expectativas sobre suministros, recordar que un alquiler no vacacional no es un hotel. Ponemos papel higiénico para la llegada. No tenemos derecho a proveer servicios hoteleros sin facturar IVA. Las medidas o superficies son las que se presentan las fotos y son exactas. El altillo justamente es un espacio adicional en caso de ocupación máxima. Los sofas son King size Ikea alta gama. Por eso son.comodos como dices. que sean sofas camas es precisamente para ser utilizados en las dos modalidades, ya que mucha gente trabaja en casas o ve peliculas en casa en su habitación. El wifi te permite ver peliculas en streaming ya que es Fibra optica de alta velocidad y no cumpartido . Last : el sofa cama abierto se ha roto, no hemos reclamado, hemos devuelto la fianza, pero estaba entero antes de vuestro grupo. Pensamos que alguien salto encima.

Great Location, Okay Apartment, Horrible Landlady

I lived here with 2 other girls for 4 months, and there were constant problems with the landlady, Marie. To start, the location is amazing and the place is livable for 4 months. However, when we first arrived in Sept. the apt was disgusting. There was dust covering everything and our feet were black from the floors. The beds, which are COUCHES that are extremely hard (something we weren’t told before arriving) were covered in thick dust. The windows and blinds were also extremely dusty. The bed in the loft area is a mattress but the ceiling is so low we couldn't use that space and the light was broken. Marie made us pay her in CASH every month. The fridge is really hard to open and we didn’t try to use the dishwasher because it looked so dirty. There is NO OVEN here which we also didn’t know before arriving. The cleaning lady comes once a week and Marie said would be one price but it ended up being more (not a huge deal), but Marie’s response to our questioning this was “The lease agreement changes sometimes”. Marie had a constant attitude with us and when our WiFi stopped working within the first week she said that she could not do anything about it. The WiFi was unusable because it was so slow and was shared with the neighbors. Anytime we had an issue Marie would blame us and she constantly lied about previous things she had said. Our lease ended in JANUARY but we let her end it in December because 2 of us decided to leave early. I was staying until 12/31 but Marie told me I had to leave on 12/27. I only came back to Madrid from a vacation on 12/27 and told her I needed to leave on 12/28. She argued with me and my parents for a week but finally agreed. She said the reason I had to leave was because of renovations, however, as I was leaving on the 28th the cleaning lady came in and began setting up the apartment for new people. Marie lied to us and had actually booked the place for new tenants! She agreed to pay for a new place for me for 3 nights but she would only pay for the cheapest one in a horrible area. When I told her I needed to leave at 2pm on the 28th because my check in at the new place wasn’t until 3, she threatened to turn off all the lights and electricity so that I would leave sooner. Overall, I recommend this place for its location but if you’re trying to avoid a bad experience with a landlady DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great location and good value for money

Marie was a great hostess. More importantly, she came through for me when another place fell through at the last minute. The place itself is centrally located - a great hub for exploring Madrid. The apartment is spacious and great for a group - tho i wouldn't recommend more than 4 couples: 3 bedrooms and a pullout sofabed in the livingroom. (The "loft" is an overhead storage space and technically could fit 2 people, but not comfortably.) The beds were comfortable but they're all sleeper sofas. The photos of the place were probably accurate at one time, but since the apartment is used exclusively for short-term rentals, the place is much more worn in (water stained ceilings, beat up furniture and appliances, wobbly coffee table, etc.) If you can get over the minor aesthetic shortcomings, the place is fantastic for a getaway in the heart of Madrid.

La casa es mucho mas pequena do que aparece en las fotos. No es apropriada para 10 personas!! 6 lo máximo! La proprietaria és una persona mui complicada... siempre desconfiada e cada dia hablando cosas diferentes. No leya los emails y depois pedia tudo otra vez... Neste apartamento nunca más!

Nightmare in Andromeda apartment Madrid Spain. We were nine adults and wanted to have a nice time

If I could give it 0 stars I would and we do NOT RECOMMEND. When we booked this apartment online we thought it was going to be great because the pictures made it look amazing and we were excited. We had booked 6 nights for 9 adults. Online there was no mention that there was NO elevator. The stairwell was not lit with lights and there was no way we could get our large luggage up those stairs let alone some of the older adults walk up three flights of stairs. The beds were not actually beds and were futons with old comfortors. The pictures fooled us because we thought the apartment would be spacious enough for 9 people; it absolutly was not. When we contacted the apartment owner, Marie, she did nothing to fix anything. Another thing, before we arrived she sent a leasing agreement of some sort saying that if we used up more than 50 euros worth of electricity or water she would charge us. Never in our experiences with airbnbs or renting apartments for vacations have we ever been told this. Also nothing of that sort was specified prior to us PAYING for the stay. Once we saw the place we could not stay there because of all of the inadequacies. We lost all of our money and had to look for a hotel at 12 at night. This place was a nightmare and we are currently still trying to get our money back because of this false advertising and con. Do not stay here.

Dear Gladys, property is totally described as indicated in www.madridcitybreak.es. Complying with Spanish regulation, In order to protect both parties, and as indicated in HAway I sent a lease agreement. You refused to sign it, and you did not accept to provide the required information about ID of your party. About electricity, this is absolutely wrong, since it is included in the rent, but there is a limit which is more than enough for you and your party to stay. People have to take care of energy resources in Spain. Then the person in charge of arrival waited for your party on NYE until 8 pm. This is the reason why she was not there. And you told her that it was ok by Whatsapp. You could enter with the electronic lock codes provided before arrival. You then decided to go to a hotel... ¨because there was no dining room¨. Pictures clearly show what to expect. including date of flat refurbishment. You changed your mind, but please do not blame the quality of the service, organisation and property.
