Spent a very comfortable one-night stay. The hotel is fine and very comfortable. It's not in the most attractive of locations, but is within an easy walk from the station, which was the main objective.

The staff were really helpful, the breakfast was fabulous. Only one problem, we had a door that adjoinded next door, they were up at 4.30am in and out of their room, opening and closing suitcases which sounded like they were in our room, this went on until 7am (gods knows what was going on in there).

The hotel itself was very clean and the room was excellent. Good standard amenities in the room.

To start with the positives: All staff are lovely and very helpful Location is excellent. Just across the road from Manchester Picadilly Station and walking distance to the main shopping area, restaurants etc. Rooms were clean and cosy Negatives The check-in and check-out was very slow. I don't think I have ever experienced such long queues for check in. We were only 15 mins early for check in and were surprised to hear that the room wasnt ready. And it would actually be available slightly later than the check in time The music from the bar carried all the way to our room at night. We were on the 4th floor. It stopped past midnight at almost 1am. This doesnt make for a plesant night's sleep.
