I went through the Vrbo app. to request the 6% state tax that Vrbo No Longer collects . It is also in my description . I had texted her & given her plenty of time to send it. She did Not send it before arriving & was mad & didn’t want to pay it when they came. I don’t like collecting this ( & never want to collect it at the door) but I am not paying out of pocket for everyone’s 6% state tax. She knew that I sent the message but denied that I sent it through the Vrbo platform which I did ( I still have it on my phone & Vrbo records. )She called Vrbo & LIED saying that I didn’t send it through the Vrbo platform thinking she would get me in trouble. It was clear for Vrbo to see that the request was sent. Some people can’t admit that they’re wrong or say they’re sorry. I HATE that Vrbo makes us collect this tax. They always use to collect it & there’s no reason for them to make us collect it. They owed it & I wasn’t going to pay it out of my pocket. It has to be paid, it’s the law. It’s unfair, uncomfortable & unreasonable for Vrbo to make us collect it. I don’t take Venmo , credit cards etc. I take a check through the mail. There is no reason for me to open up those accounts solely to collect the state tax. Until the 1st of the year Vrbo always collected it. Be mad at Vrbo, not the homeowners. They begrudgingly paid with cash, ( I would have preferred a check but at that point I would have taken either.) I was angry , but I put it behind me & did everything possible for them to have a good time. I would now never accept them back!!

Great place for a weekend get together with family

We enjoyed the sandy beach, yard and nice home with all the space it offers.
We hope to be back again next year!

Memorial Day weekend
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayExcellent all around! Great location for the kids to swim and not worry about boat traffic. House was well maintained and supplied. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider this property in the future.

Perfect

Beautiful home, with a beautiful view
