We stayed 2 nights surrounding a friend’s wedding at The Cow Shed.
We had a couple of questions before our stay and Fran was very prompt in responding to these messages.
It was easy enough to find with parking right outside.
The place was lovely. I personally don’t think the photos do it justice. It was a good sized space and we didn’t expect to have a kitchen and we had our own little outside space with chairs. Fran had filled our fridge with juice, drink and milk as well as fruit and cake. There was cereal available in the cupboard which would have been useful to know before, because we had brought breakfast with us. But it was really good to have the option there.
Fran was on hand throughout our stay if we needed her and she had useful information and recommendations about the best places to get breakfast and local taxis.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables and would definitely recommend!

We took both properties for 2 couples which worked very well with the kitchen in the middle. We appreciated the extra touches; cake and strawberries and various breakfast items we had not expected.
Lovely garden to sit out in for a cuppa.
The host was charming and helpful. We would recommend the Old Stables.

I have no problem with the property. I have a major problem with Expedia. This property is in Burrough on the
Hill. It is not in Somerby and DEFINITELY not in Melton Mowbray.
The accommodation was good our host very friendly and helpful. We understood from the listing that a hot breakfast was included and that is not the case. However fresh fruit and a
selection of cereals were supplied. I think Expedia needs to update it's listings.

Thank you very much for your comments highlighting lack of correct information via Expedia. Expedia now have instructions to change the address details. Re breakfasts; for some reason the fact that breakfasts are not available does not seem to appear clearly on some confirmations from Expedia; I will ask Expedia to look into this. I message each guest confirming details, advising Room only, asking for approximate arrival time, and if anyone has any questions to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfasts are not available however there are a number of good cafes within 2/3 miles who provide excellent breakfasts, good quality and choice. I provide milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and basic cereals. I will make sure to mention that breakfasts are not available.Thank you for staying at The Old Stables. It was a pleasure to meet you and hopefully you had a relaxing and peaceful stay. Have a happy time during your tour of the UK. Look forward to meeting you again when you next visit.Regards

Lovely place to stay
