Anniversary Getaway
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayI rented for my parents 50th Anniversary. They absolutely loved the location and the cabin. They love rustic, quiet places with the up north feel.
They said it was a comfortable and peaceful stay. The property was beautiful and they loved the smell of the pines. Lot's of walking trails and things to do in nature.
The host was incredibly accommodating and made them feel welcome.
Thank you for providing a wonderful weekend for my parents!

Great meeting place for a weekend with old friends
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayVisited the Buckwild cabin in Mio to meet with old friends. Enjoyed local activities, but also enjoyed many hours around the cabin's camp fire. Nice and cozy cabin. Welcoming and very communicative host. Great weekend.

2024 Trike bash at Bull Gap

You and your crew are so much fun. Repeat guests are the best. The feel of early 20th century was and is intended but with the modern twist. Oh that sweet corn was yum yum.

Quiet location. Attractive cabin furniture and decor. Remodeled bathroom with great shower. Comfortable beds. Very accommodating host.

Jon is a great host. He made us breakfast the morning we were leaving.
We will recommend this place to friends and family.
Lots of outdoor activities in the area. We will be back!

Publié le 6 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time!!! The bed was a queen size and it was very clean and comforable. We had very warm showers too. There was plenty to do as it's close to Bull Gap , Wolf Creek, an the Ausable River. The hosts were very hospitable. They surprised us with kabobs for supper one night and the next night invited us to listen to music, talk, and have a couple of drinks in their Party Barn that they are currently working on. This place is perfect for a couple and we are definitely going back. The only suggestion that I have is that it needs to have curtains in the living room.

Yes ....we loved hosting your stay. Next year you will see additional updates... fireplace will be operational....a clawfoot tub... new countertop and sink and more.... never know what dish we prepare... but always be ready for something delish

Thanks so much for recognizing our improvements to this diamond in the rough. We hope to see you 2 again.....And by the end of this week there will be a new on demand hot water tank....no more 4 minute showers! and by the time we see you again we may even have the clawfoot tub installed and operational... And wait til you see the fireplace mantel and new kitchen countertops and more surprises. See you soon.

Weekend away.

So glad you had a great time. We have worked long and hard to upgrade the facilities in bath and the fireplace will be awesome when done. Thanks for putting up with us. Come again...maybe Yvette will cook some more fabulous dishes to share.
