Dear Mr. Carl, Thank you for your “informative” comment, but we would like it to be a bit more complete, for the benefit of those reading us. Your car, the one that required towing truck, was a Fiat Tipo Station wagon, with ground clearance from 15 to 18 cm, depending on the tires mounted.We own a Subaru Levorg 170hp, ground clearance 13,5 cm and same length as yours (295cm), not suited for off road use.We never experienced any problem, nor did any of our guests in more than 20 years, even those driving Porsche or the guests we hosted right before your arrival or right after you departed, see their reviews.This confirms that to score two damaged cars out of two, either you wrecked your cars in some other way or we passionately suggest you reconsider your driving capabilities.Whatever the cause has been, it is worth mentioning that after wrecking your cars you tried to blackmail us asking for “a credit for 3 nights” mentioning that- should we have accepted - “I promise I won’t move forward with Homeaway.ca / post bad reviews etc.” and “avoid further issues”.The request and relevant terms were simply unacceptable but, rather than “leaving you out” as you are alleging, we have passed your case to our insurer, who will deal with it and its legitimacy.In this respect it is nonetheless curious to note that your “accurately” negative review is concomitant with a charge by the car rental company with “damages occurred to the not insured parts of the rented vehicle, such as … underside parts of the vehicle”.Last,you do not mention the over 30 messages sent,most of them in the first days of your stay,trying to create an issue on everything, with any kind of frivolous requests which we still tried to fulfill,compelling us to have our maid,who leaves 40 minutes drive away,to come to help,eventually being unable to meet you because at her arrival you speeded away…this just to try to obtain a reduction on the rental price.The above fully clarifies the intents underlying your review, which requires no further comments from our side.But one final remark is due:we love our house, it is not a house that we own to rent, it is our house,everything has been carefully chosen, some items are quite delicate because they are not mass products, it is not an hotel like accommodation,it is a real house in a unique place and we hope our guests feel at home. Dear Mr. Carl: next time select carefully your holiday destination.We are sure you will be happy. And we will be too!

It was a great pleasure for me as well to have you like guests inside I Tetti.You left my house in an excellent way and even if I didn't meet you Antonella,my housekeeper, told me that you were very tidy and respectful family. Since( as I told you) I tetti it's my personal house and it's not a renting house every time I am really anxious about my guests! I am happy that you appreciated my mattresses (it's a top quality )since we like to sleep in a very comfortable way.And that you liked also the decoration of my house :every single element has been chosen from me and my husband very carefully.A typical artisanal Italian style!And the sensation that you got of a cozy house it's exactly what I wish my guests feel. I Tetti is a perfect place for people who are looking to relax in the middle of nature. Unlikely staying in contact with nature has some inconveniences like ants.I am very sorry for them!I tried to kill them putting poison everywhere but they still arrive. And even if the house is perfectly clean (I am a maniac of cleaning)they still come to visit us. Mrs Eva at the beach told me you were very nice as well. So thanks again. Mariolina
