Escapade de 4 jours en toscane

La Maison Léoni est très bien située entre Pise,Florence, Sienne ce qui nous a permis de programmer des visites dans chacune de ces villes. Cette Maison ancienne avec des meubles de l'époque a une âme. Elle est bien équipée ( lave linge, lave vaisselle, four,.... wifi, avec un nombre de chambres important ayant chacune cabinet de toilettes. Un petit bémol l'eau chaude a parfois quelques difficultés pour alimenter les cabinets de toilette en même temps Pour ceux qui ont choisi comme nous de consacrer nos journées à visiter la toscane le service d'une cuisinière pour les repas du soir est plus qu'appréciable d'autant plus que la cuisinière personne très bienveillante, accueillante, propose une cuisine raffinée et créative. Un séjour fort agréable même en période automnale

Merci pour la belle critique. En de nombreuses années d’activité, nous n’avons jamais eu de problèmes d’eau, mais pendant votre séjour, comme je vous l’ai informé, l’approvisionnement en eau a été interrompu à plusieurs reprises en raison de réparations du réseau par l’entreprise qui gère l’eau.

it was a wonderful opportunity for us to be with our family but yet have our own individual space. Sergio was very helpful with giving us recommendations and excellent driver referrals. The restaurant near the Villa was very special and the chefs he recommended were excellent

Beautiful Farm House, incredible views

The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee was the same. Other than that the only other issue was lack of towels per guest , everyone was complaining they needed more towels and they were not easy to get . But overall amazing place for a big group , and very very affordable .

I don't know who gave you this information. If you had asked me about the bus service I would have immediately told you that it is not adequate and that there are few trips during the day. As for the towels, no one asked me for additional ones. Thanks for the 5 stars.

Tuscan Countryside

The villa was a combination of multiple separate apartments, which allowed for plenty of comfort and privacy for our big group. The main floor apartment had a dining table and living space that could fit all of us when we wanted to gather. We took advantage of the pool (a bit of a cold plunge, since we were there in the spring weather), and admired the lovely views of the countryside from the outdoor areas. The location is very easy to get to from Florence. Our group went to Siena as a day trip as well. We even enjoyed walking down the street from the villa to a beautiful castle with a lovely restaurant and terrace for drinks. One note is that some of the bedding could use an update, but we still had a great stay.

Thank you for the nice rewiew. Regarding the bedding that are 3 single beds in one room, we have asked prices for buy new confortable beds.

Wedding in Tuscany

This is a great place to stay with multiple families. You are all together but have your own separate space and kitchen. We stayed here with family and attended our sons wedding nearby!! There is a great restaurant that we drove to not far from the Villa that I highly recommend: Osteria Del Tempo Perso - Montespertoli FI There is a Coop about 15 min drive and 25 min to downtown Florence

We are in the country in a beutiful set and Florernce is 20 km away: just 20 minutes drive.

Stay at Villa I Leoni

We stayed at Villa I Loeni for a month and it was fabulous. The property is very clean and the set up is perfect for larger groups. All have own rooms (apartments) with really comfortable beds and a large area to congregate. Perfect for bringing in Chefs or other cooks like Pizza parties. Great pool and area allows to view both sunrises and sunsets. Property is located in a great area, with access to nice restaurants. Located to many cities that you want to visit during the day, and provides a quiet place to return to at night. Owner is around to ask questions about property or local area as needed. However, he stays in the background and is not intrusive. Highly recommend, particularly for bigger groups
