We had to leave and had to make a new reservation at a different hotel. We drove in and waited at the gate for 15 minutes and in pitch darkness before someone came to open the gate. The gate is almost a quarter mile away from the main buildings. We honked multiple times and I had to leave the safety of my car to knock at the gate. The room we were assigned was Dirty with falling window curtains. Water was shut off and we had to wait for them to run around to get it running. The toilet was dirty with brown water sitting in there even after flushing the toilet. There was No TV in the room contrary to the advert and when we asked why, we were told that they were working towards buying some. Most scary was that we were the only guests in the facility. It was deserted. Initially we could not locate the hotel but when we called the number provided, it was answered by a lady who told us that she had quit her job a year ago but she kind enough to give us directions. In summary, we couldn’t get ourselves to stay there had to make a late reservation at a different location. This hotel should NOT be on Expedia in the first place. It’s a dead location. We were in the middle of nowhere in pitch darkness with little to no help.
