A decent hotel
Publié le 17 déc. 2022 sur HotelsOverall the hotel was decent and the staff is really helpful. What they lack in terms of establishment, they make up for it with their service team. We had breakfast and dinner and it was decent.

Good Location, bad ambiance

I AM SO SORRY TO READ ABOUT AN OPNION OF ONE OF THE GUEST WHO STAYED IN OUR HOTEL. IT WAS UNFORTUNATELY HAPPENED, ANYWAY WE WILL TRY OUR LEVEL BEST TO AVOID THIS TYPE OF INCIDENTS.. SOME TIME IT WILL BE HAPPENED DUE TO PEAKEST RUSH IN OUR HOTEL. I AM SO SORRY TO INFORM YOU THAT DID N'T TELL ANY COMPLIENTS TO THE MANAGER. ANYWAY WE WILL TAKE THIS ISSUE AS SERIOUS. Fantastic stay at Marine Palace Hotel
Publié le 13 mars 2019 sur HotelsFantastic staff, Fantastic location, Fantastic food Manager Harrie and staff arranged our pick up at Trivandrum Airport and transfer to the Hotel Marine Palace. They also arranged all our trips and tours with private air conditioned car and driver guide. We visited Temple Elephant parades, Tea Plantations, A trip to the tip of India where the Oceons meet and a spectacular boat trip in the Back Waters all recommended by staff. The hotel public areas and our rooms were spotlessly clean and my room was spacious with fine shower suite and access to a veranda overlooking the Arabian Sea and beautiful sandy beach. Location was central for lots of shops and restaurants but also quiet and peaceful. Can’t thank staff enough, they looked after us very well. Harrie booked or train for our onward journey to Kochi and was there at the station when we arrived by taxie. He accompanied us to our train carriage and ensured all was good for us and we knew where to go when we arrived at Kochi for our further stay there. We will defiantly be back and HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO OTHERS.

Marine Suite room is just like an apartment, a big balcony with sea view, A big Drawing & Dinning hall, very big bath room & Bed room. definately it is not very high.

Publié le 27 févr. 2017 sur Hotelsここのレストランはケーララ州の禁酒法下でのライセンスを持っている。そのうえ合法、非合法を問わずビール大瓶1本、200ルピーが他のレストランや他の地域の相場であっが、このホテルは140ルピーと安い。そのため地元インド人も朝昼晩と何人も途切れることなくビールを飲みにくる客がいた。
今回旅行でこのホテルは唯一、蚊が入ってきた。バストイレ室の換気扇の外または内側に防護網がないからだ。夜寝るときはバストイレ室のドアを確実に閉めて寝た。
プールにはデッキチェアも何脚かあり、毎朝消毒もしているので安心できる。マネージャーも親切であった。ただ、宿泊条件を見落としたのか、他のホテルはすべて朝食込みであったが、このホテルは別料金であった。

Basic Hotel close to the beach and restaurants

Pour : Clean Friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
Contre : Dining room could do with a bit of redecoration and extra lighting.
Emplacement : Excellent location near to the beach with plenty of taxis to lots of sightseeing at very reasonable prices.
The hotel was basic but very clean and tidy. Clean sheets and towels every day. Room cleaned every day. Bed very comfortable and Air Con and Fan in every room. Staff very friendly and helpful when my husband fell ill one night. Would recommend to anyone wanting just basic hotel room. Breakfast very good but dining room a bit dingy. It is situated in the mainly Indian part of Lighthouse Beach and although very busy with Indian tourists at Christmas and New Year absolutely no problems. Excellent service by Hotel staff.

Worst hotel I've stayed in

Comfortable Hotel near to the amenities.

Pour : Near the amenities, pleasant staff.
Contre : The pool itself was ok but the steps to it could do with tidying up. The kitchen bins were near the steps which wasn't very nice to walk past.
Emplacement : Near the amenities and beach. Lots of restaurants. Buses nearby to Trivandrum although up a hill to catch it.
Hotel staff welcoming and helpful. Pool area and approach needed a bit more looking after but overall a good stay. The food was very good and reasonable.
