Dog Urine House
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was by far the worse rental we have ever stayed in. There was dog urine all over the carpet. The urine was all down the hall and into the main and smaller bedroom. There was urine right beside the bed. The smell was sickening and make it hard to sleep and made us sick. We stayed here for 1 very long week. We call, texted and sent pictures to Vacasa every day, all we ever got was a generated answer " we will let our local team know. This is not the experience we want are guests to have." We requested a full refund so we could go to a clean heathy rental. On the 5th. day they refunded us $162.75 we paid $1659.40 ! We had to set on a bench in town to kill time so we didn't have to put up with the smell. The dog urine was not the only issue, when we used the main shower water would pour through the floor into the kitchen area that we had to clean up every night. Th kitchen window had so much grease on it we couldn't even see out. Do Not rest from Vacasa all they want is your money and WILL NOT help you with any issue. Disappointed with VRBO also for not helping and even backing Vacasa .

Overall was a great time

Dishwasher had broken glass in it so we did not use it, call and they said they would send someone to look at it but never were told if they did or not.
Trash was full outside and they took care of that.
Also should have told us the washer can only use cold water so we knew a head of time.
The sliding door had a hole in the screen.
Also we wanted to use the grill but we're unable to do to the fact it was way to rusty.
But overall we didn't mind most of that cause our kids weren't bothered so we let it go.

Great Place to Stay

We had plenty of space to spread out - bedrooms across 3 different levels of the home, and a very cozy main level for hanging out together. We loved that this location is close to the best attractions in the White Mountains, but just off the beaten path making it easy to access and more relaxing. Overall our visit was great and we would absolutely return to this home again!
