WHAT’S THAT SMELL???

Oakley the town itself smells terrible! It was a mystery smell but it was super pungent and everywhere. The room smelled musty, which gladly covered the outside smell. The staff was friendly at check in and at check out. Breakfast was what you might expect at a small motel. Other than the smell the room was acceptable. The one thing was that the smoke detector started chirping at 3:30am. I ended up having the climb on a chair to take it down and remove the battery. Overall not that great of an experience, but it was really just a place to sleep while driving through. I would pick somewhere else and another town if I was spending more than a few hours only to sleep, like I said.

Freundliches Personal, Frühstück für amerikanisches Hotel in Ordnung, vor allem sauber und frisch, Betten ordentlich und gemütlich:; Der Zustand der Zimmer allgemein ist allerdings sehr schlecht, Möbel alt, zerkratzt Teppich dreckig und teilweise mit Tape geflickt, wirklich nicht gemütlich. Es müsste dringend renoviert werden. Deshalb nur zwei Sterne

There were few options to choose a hotel. They are routes where you have to stay in places like this. But for the price I paid $106, I found it very bad place.In fact, on the way back from my trip, I stayed for $60, in a nearby town and it was much better, clean and comfortable.I have to say that the reception was kind and friendly with us.

Windows were broken on the stairs, holes in the bathroom door that looks like knife marks. We got in super late, the people were nice but the room did not look like the pictures.
