Publié le 1 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayEnjoyable stay for 2 families with kids and dogs. Enjoyed the time spent on the dock by the river, fire pit at night and kids were able to fish on the dock. House was cozy and comfortable.

Great getaway

What a Great Place
Publié le 8 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayCheryl is an awesome host. The home is in a quiet spot and large enough for a whole family. We were in the area to purchase a home of our own down there so we were quite busy and didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities. There is a large dock, corn hole game, yard darts, a couple of kayaks, a fire pit with plenty of chairs for everyone to sit, and the back deck has a large table to eat outside if you want with more chairs there.
We will definitely try to stay there again if needed while working on our new place.

Gathering of friends
Publié le 28 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe came to Old Town to visit with friends from the area. . This home was a perfect spot for our short visit. If we ever need to stay longer on the Suwannee River, we will look into this home again. Thank you so very much!!!

I thought the property would be CLEAN
Publié le 28 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe were sooo disappointed to find this place filthy. We wanted to turn around and leave after we walked in and saw and smelled it. In my opinion this property had been sitting empty for some time. No one bothered cleaning it. It was a beautiful home but everything was nasty, the dishes, the floors, the tables. I wiped up so much nastiness, and we have 2 under 2 babies and it was dang near impossible to keep them off the floors. The whole place had bugs, some were dead and others were happy to see food 😑
I assumed all the properties listed on Vrbo were required to be clean. We left it cleaner than when we arrived.
I will never stay here again!

I am very sorry you had this experience. Our home is to be thoroughly cleaned between every guest. We are a very popular vacation rental and we pride ourselves on cleanliness and our many happy returning guests. We will be addressing this with our cleaning service and will rectify this issue. Again, I'm very sorry you were disappinted and that we didn't meet expectations.
