Un drôle d'hôtel.

According to the information supplied by hotels.com, we had booked a room "donnant sur le jardin". However, on arrival we were informed that the hotel itself was full. We found ourselves in a little bungalow, set apart from the main hotel, and donnant sur…..un mur. We complained to the management, and were moved to another bungalow, even further from the main hotel. It had wonderful views, but it was damp and dirty. One night there was some sort of team-building event going on in the garden right outside our room - very loud music, and a great deal of shouting, that went on for hours.
We had booked six days at the hotel, and were promised that on Day 4 we would be moved to the main hotel, to a room donnant sur le jardin.
The promise was fulfilled, and we moved into a beautiful room, with wonderful views. However, due to the open-plan nature of the hotel, cooking smells from the kitchen filled the entire building, and drifted under our bedroom door. We love Indian cooking, but we don't want to smell it all day long. I had une intoxication alimentaire, and since using the bathroom involved going close to the door of the room, you may imagine the effect that the spicy smells had on me.
Avec mon époux nous n'étions pas DU TOUT satisfaits de cet hôtel.

The services was pathetic. Most of the area was booked for private parties so we couldn't go anywhere. It was like staying in a hotel and not resort. Also, during checkout they took more amount from us. When I checked it, and asked for a refund, they said they have initiated the refund. But I never got it back. They are just thiefs who show you the correct bill. But in final bill which they don't show you they add many bills twice.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY - NOT EVEN MATCH 2 star STANDARD.
Recently stayed here with family for 2 days. To start with no staff to help in checkin process or luggage, have to ask multiple times. Then, room allocated was a pathetic dirty room with no view -- unless they consider teenshade as a view. Nothing, happened even after complaint, just the false promise to get the room changed next day (I already arrived in evening, then to pack luggage next morning doesnt make sense at all). Cherry on the cake was -- TV not working, kettle not working, for room service u have to wait for hours for just getting water refill. Bathroom drains were blocked. And, best part they serve in room food in disposable like pizza delivery which though was just coming from one floor below but was served cold with very high price.
I have stayed in other Sterling properties during same trip as well in past, they are good but this property definetly has some issue so pls refrain from booking this unless u want to spoil ur holiday.

Location is good. Relationship manger started with his sales pitch even before I had checked in. Despite requesting to take this up later as I was tired, he continued to keep pitching.
Cleanliness wasn't great and despite having a Premium suite the room had no view. Overall no value for money

Access road is really bad, Hot water is not available for the second person, need to wait 25 minutes to get enough hot water for the next person. All glasses for drinking water had a faint smell of kerosene.
Great location, superb views, excellent breakfast and dinner buffet.

Publié le 29 nov. 2022 sur HotelsThe choice of room provided to us was very average for the pricing. After spending 10k for a night we expect a balcony at the least. The room was big though. The view from the room was not that great. The kitchen closes at 3 pm with limited food options, taste wasn't great either.

A mixed bag of good, bad and ugly
Publié le 25 oct. 2022 sur HotelsThe stay was a mixed bag really. While the location of the resort is excellent, the roads leading up to the resort are terrible. The same goes for the staff, a mixed bag. Some staff members were very kind and courteous while others were not. There were 3 of us staying in your privilege suite and I called in to request an additional duvet 3 times. The duvet was not provided and the Housekeeping, as well as the front desk, stopped answering calls from my room. Now, this behaviour will ensure that I do not ever come back despite a few good people working in your resort who were very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
