Come for the pool, tolerate the house layout
Publié le 4 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great stay with most of our time spent outside in the backyard with the pool, hammock, hot tub and sauna. The house however, left a lot to be desired. The layout is funky with limited areas to have a large group gather comfortably. The kitchen is quite small and it got crowded with only a few of us in there at a time. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are only accessible if you exit the house and go outside. For our family it was a bit limiting since we didn't feel comfortable having small kids walking by the pool at night to get to bed. However, the owners were fantastic and responded to our requests immediately and even helped us secure a second baby pac-n-play for sleeping. The house was a ton of fun for our family and even with the quirks, we had a really wonderful time together.

Great last minute trip
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe just took a last minute trip to palm springs. This home was perfect for a relaxing weekend. We wish we would have known before hand that music wasn't allowed outside, but we did without.

Hi Heather, You were great guests. I am sure that the No Outdoor Music Law is mentoned in my advertisement of this property on the VRBO site. I believe it is in the first paragraph describing the property. It is a law for the entire City of Palm Springs which arose as a result of a vote several years ago when residents were upset about "party houses." Unfortunately, some people thought Palm Springs was a party town and that they could act accordingly. Fortunately we won the vote and can still offer vacation homes and invite guests to stay; however, we do have a strict ordinance to adhere to. We do still have many visitors who love Palm Springs and they come and stay and have a good time without playing music outdoors and without disturbing our neighbors. Many Cities have shut down vacation rentals entirely so we are happy that we can still invite guests to come and enjoy our beautiful City. Thanks for understanding and we do look forward to hearing from you again.

Awesome pool

The property owner was really nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape the heat or have a fun weekend in the desert.
