Publié le 13 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location, don’t be put off by long drive to cottage, it’s well worth it. Loads of walks and boat trips, easy drive to Ambleside and Grasmere. Loved it, just loved it.

Beautiful location and area
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the beautiful area. The cottage is in a beautiful location with a view of lakes and mountain ridges. There are several hiking trails in the area where you can also walk with children. We had some questions during our stay and they were answered quickly. There are quite a lot of things in the cottage, so it takes some puzzling where you can put your own groceries, for example.

It was lovely to host you and family , I’m sorry we couldn’t accommodate a longer stay for you . As a big family we tend to put all the groceries in the pantry and fridge but I’ll certainly take a look at space and things on the shelf : )
