While the establishment is in a nice state, the cleaning could be done better, Had chunks for hair in the spa bath and dropped my phone under the bed and had a bonus toenail come out with it. No microwave was an inconvenience. The room didn't even have a dustpan and brush to clean up a small mess. But otherwise a nice room for an overnight stay in a gorgeous area of the valley.

Thank-you for the review Taylor. We don't advertise microwaves or dust pan and brushes as part of our amenities - these are not standard items in a hotel room. What you are describing are apartment / self-catering facilities. We are very disappointed to read minor issues with cleanliness, we pride ourselves on a very thorough checklist driven cleaning and inspection process. It's a better outcome for both the guest and the hotel if you raise these issues directly with the hotel during your stay and give them the chance to rectify, rather than a public review like this that achieves nothing other than damaging reputations. Occasional problems in hospitality are inevitable, what's important is how the business deals with them. And businesses can only deal with them if brought to their attention. We'd have been more than happy to quickly attend to these issues, or even move you to a new room given the chance.

We advertise on our Expedia profile and also mention in our welcome calls that our renovations are nearing completion now after what has been a very long and expensive project. We are very excited to soon reopen our brand new pool, gym, sauna, and guest laundry facilities.

I was disappointed with facilities in room - no microwave, no toaster, no chairs to sit on (other than 1 office type chair), small desk rather than dining table. Minimum essentials like glasses, plates, but no facilities to wash or dry same. nowhere to sit to watch TV except on bed or one office chair. Although room was small, re-positioning of bed would allow space for small 2 seater lounge.

What an utterly ludicrous review Sheryl. Why are you criticising us for not having things in the room that we don't advertise as having in the room? The room is exactly as it is described on Expedia. And more to the point, none of those features you expect are at all standard in any hotel room around the world. What you're describing is kitchen and lining facilities i.e. an apartment. Of which, we have 4 and you could have booked. Reviews like this make running a hotel utterly depressing.

This is another example of a 6/10 review where the Expedia algorithm has not accurately reflected the guests sentiment. When we called Nick after his stay, he was perfectly happy with his stay, thought everything was great, and that we offered good value - he didn't understand why Expedia rated the stay as 6/10. Expedia really need to fix their review system, as it's making an already hard job even harder.

Lovely clean and tidy room, nice big bath and big comfy bed. Staff are super friendly
