Avis Idlewood Chalet

We had a great time staying at the Peaceful Mountain Getaway. The bedrooms were all a nice size and had a very trendy vibe to them, one even had a crib which was perfect for us. The older kids enjoyed the extra tv and hangout space upstairs in the loft while the little kids enjoyed the basket of toys. Plenty of towels, cups, plates, utensils and soap were available. The table out back is not in the best shape and the dryer does not shut off on its own so you can only do laundry when you are there. The location of house is fairly close to one of the pool, tennis courts and play ground areas but the big island pool with tennis courts and kayak rental is pretty far away. We didn't mind taking the drive because we enjoyed staying in a quieter area of a big community. Overall, we would definitely stay here again as it was a cute, smaller house that fit my family of 7 very comfortably at a very fair price.

This place was just the right size for what we needed. We really enjoyed the amenities arrowhead had to offer. The host was really polite and easy to talk to and always responded within the day. 10 out of 10! Would stay again.

Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Our family had a blast and there was plenty of room for us to spread out and relax. Lots of towels, bedding, and pillows provided. Comfortable beds and washer and dryer located on first floor to dry wet towels/bathing suits so they are ready for next dip. Nice and quiet at night, close to beaches and pools, run to watch local wildlife from back picnic area. We saw a big black bear and lots of squirrels! You will need to buy or bring some firewood for fire pit if you’re wanting to do s’mores or little campfire. We unfortunately weren’t prepared for that this time around but managed to do some on the grill this time around! Overall nice and well kept property with lots of home comforts. Enjoyed our stay with a family of 6.

Everything is new, including interior finish, furniture and household items. One of the top properties I’ve stayed at over the past three years at Arrowhead Lake.
