Great location
Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was located across the road from the beach and playground which was convenient. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was nearby and heated.
On the downside, The basement was musty with very poor air circulation. Moisture from the bathroom caused the floor to stay wet and very slick. We did have a surprise visitor in the kitchen in the morning This crazy squirrel got in somehow and ate much of our baked goods on the counter. The owners have been informed and plan to solve this problem.
The extra costs add up! Car fees and amenity fees per person. For a week, ours totaled almost $300 extra! We had to cut our vacation short due to these added costs above the vrbo extra fees.

Dana, thanks for your feedback. We did address the squirrel issue. There were trees touching the roof which was an easy bridge for them to cross over, we trimmed them down. Yes, there is a temporary membership fees listed in the listing payable separately to the community over and above what you pay to VRBO. This is per guest, so depends on how many guests you have. Hope this helps.

Great Family Getaway
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home was clean and well stocked with paper products, kitchen equipment, the grill was charcoal and there was coal and lighter fluid there! We replenished it before we left.
We used the kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. The temperatures were amazing and we spent our time on the lake, cooking, grilling, fire pit time, playing games, and walking around the area! We totally suggest this house for a family getaway!

Family Vacation
Publié le 10 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was our first family vacation i 6 years and it was amazing. Mamta was fantastic to communicate with (and helped with our AC issue). The amenities were awesome. The kids spent most of the time kayaking and paddle boarding. Being right across from the water gave us the peace of mind to let them explore on their own. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and we had no concerns with safety or anything. The association website listed all of the events and activities that were going on while we were there, and the fireworks were fantastic. This was a great stay and would 100% recommend it!

Upgrade the Furniture!
Publié le 11 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location was great and the house was nice with plenty of room and all of the supplies that were needed. Our biggest complaint was the awful furniture in the living room that felt like you were sitting on cinder blocks. After a long day of skiing, we wanted to sit and relax at night and watch a little tv. The old "This Ends Up" furniture with the wood frames and cushions that are 2 inches thick just don't cut it. We couldn't wait to go home.

Rachael, thanks for the feedback and your advise well taken. We did think through before choosing the furniture we wanted to decor the house with. We have two living rooms with TVs, so we placed the contemporary style sofa sets downstairs while the upstairs we chose the furniture to go with the aesthetic look of the cabin-style walls of the upstair living room. Our vacation specialist suggested that the vacationers prefer aesthetic decor against what you usually find in regular family home, so we went ahead with that. Lot of people appreciate the aesthetic look as well as our family and friends. It was a hard find but I see your point and that’s where the downstairs room comes to play!

Great Stay
Publié le 1 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay! We found it to be a spacious house perfect for family gatherings. Had a beautiful view of the lake too. Kitchen had all the dishware and appliances we needed to cook a new years dinner. Fireplace gave such a cozy cabin feel. Would book again in the summer time!

Upstairs good downstairs bad!
Publié le 19 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLocation was fabulous. Kayaks by the lake were excellent. The kitchen was great and appliances were all updated. The downstairs of the house was musty and was leaking water in the bedrooms. They were not usable and clean at all therefore people slept on the couches. The downstairs shower did not drain. Grill was clearly not cleaned and spent a chunk of time cleaning it. The kayaks on the property were full of bugs and the hose was not hooked up to wash them out therefore making them unusable.

Haley, thanks for your review. Appreciate your feedback. We are glad that you liked the location and kayaks.. We had a major rain storm the night before you arrived. You requested early checkin, so cleaners cleaned the area but were not able to dry it out completely. You said only one out of the four bedroom is not usable and you were party of 4, so you were good with it and didn't need any help. We apologized for the inconvenience. Also, because of the rain storm, kayaks on the property were not usable. So, we arranged for the clean kayaks for you which were stored on the beach as you mentioned in your review. We love that your kids enjoyed the kayak and overall you had a positive experience

Wonderful rental right on the lake
