Our Get Away
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayPlace was very clean and nice. Property manager was very nice and helpful. Her husband helped us with fishing tips. They had a very nice pier to fish off. We even caught a 27” red drum off the pier. Will come back!

28th Anniversary
Publié le 20 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMy wife and I have stayed here before. We decided to go to the coast and go fishing for our anniversary. Our first choice was Las Casitas. Awesome fishing dock.

Cozy Fishing Shack
Publié le 11 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a great location for a fishing getaway with a group of w or more. Place is small but had everything you need for a short fishing trip. My two sons joined me and they enjoyed fishing on the pier. Not far down the road is beach access where you can get in the water. We didn't do that but saw others doing so. This is just a really great place away from city life. The owner of the property was a good communicator.

A Wonderful Wedding Anniversary Gift
Publié le 11 mars 2022 sur HomeAwayWent to Port La Vaca house hunting and celebrating our 35th year of marriage, surprised my wife with a beautiful stay at small duplex style house called Casita B instead of a hotel room. The house was wonderful very private and right by the beach front. It has a great view of the bayfront and you can walk the beach for a long stretch. This Casita had all the provisions needed to be comfortable. Very Cosey and romantic. I would highly recommend this place and would certainly stay there again in the future.

Great Fishing Getaway

It was clean and easy to follow instructions were provided to us with a map of surrounding places. We would definitely stay again! The only sad part was that the fishing pier down the road was closed, but we found so many other places to fish.

Lovely Beach Getaway

A nice little place on the water
Publié le 4 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayNice little property, well stocked, very clean. Walking distance to the public pier, it was closed when we stayed but we spent most of our fishing time in Indianola, just right up the road a few miles.

Goin' fishing!
Publié le 3 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe property itself is great and communication with the property manager could not have been better. IMO, it's very much a place to go and chill out and do some fishing. This is not an area full of souvenir shops and lots of restaurants. We loved the proximity to Matagorda Bay... It's about 60 yards straight out the front door and there are plenty of places to wet a line. Casita B was clean, well appointed and the perfect size for the two of us. We will be back!

Needing a time away
