Great place - especially with balcony. Owners were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Filtered water available in lobby area 24 hrs. Hotel has a Gate which is nice. In galapagos, hotels / air bnb are also called hostals.

Nelly is so hospitable and friendly. She will do anything for you. Just make sure that you have some working knowledge of Spanish. Lucy can help some with translation during the day. Nice, large covered area to sit outside with some cold beverages available. Bathrooms are on the small side and the wifi is minimal and inconsistent, regardless of where you are on the property.

This place is owned and managed by a family living at the property. Nelly took personal care to make sure all went perfectly. Really recommended.

Hostal Canns was clean and the owner Nelly was very attentive. Room was large however the property is not really a Hostal- more a family home with guest rooms! Breakfast provided daily however no choice or variety. Overall pleasant stay however overpriced in comparison to other properties we stayed at in Galapagos

Hand soap was very unsanitary and has a lot of flocculent mold inside. Our room was very small. And the shower was so confusing and they didn’t tell us how to use it. Unfortunately no one were there to ask at night when I want to take a shower. It’s unfriendly for English speaker because I can hardly communicate with the staffs. The stairs were so narrow and made it very hard to carry the suitcase upstairs. And this has nothing to do with price, I stayed in another hotel on San Cristóbal island, the price was comparable but it was way better than this hotel.

Nelly Cann was a fabulous hostess and takes great pride in making sure her guests are comfortable and well looked after.

Two thumbs up at Hostal Cann's House

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Cann's House. My daughter and I arrived to San Cristobal without any tours planned and Nelly helped us secure two wonderful boat trips using her network, plan another trip to the highlands. It was an unforgettable experience. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and we felt at home. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it so nice to be immersed with local culture. We speak Spanish, so communication was not a problem.
