David welcomed us and provided useful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Rapid City. We stayed two nights. Unfortunately the room was not made on the second day ... David made his best to solve the issue.

I am sorry to hear that our housekeepers missed your room. As humans we all make mistakes, but I can assure you the situation was addressed with the correct individual and we are making changes to ensure our stay over guests are not missed again.

Lachambre était propre, par contre, salle de bains exigüe, impossible de suspendre la moindre serviette mouillée. Les alentours, vraiment pas terribles

Thank you for your comments, as there is nothing I can do about size of the space we have, I can look into making the space more functional to hang towels, etc.

Agréable séjour

Belle grande chambre bien rénovée, demi sous-sol donc un peu sombre. Matelas du divan-lit peu confortable. Personnel très gentil et de bon conseil pour restaurant.

Thank you for your review. Yes it is in the lower floor of the motel, I will definitely work on getting some more light options in there so it will be more comfortable.

JE NE LE RECOMMANDE PAS. nous avions reserver en octobre 2015 pour un séjour en juin 2016 arriver à la reception on nous donne 1 chambre alors que nous en avions réserver 2.après insistante et en lui montrant le justificatif de réservation la personne a l'accueil c'est quand même rendu compte que l'on avait 2 chambres si on avait pas insisté on avait une chambre pour 4 et on aurai quand même payer pour 2 chambres car ils auraient crus qu'on était pas venu par rapport à la réservation, de plus on nous a donner des chambres complètement à l'oposer(notre réservation ne datait pas d'hier pourtant) TRES DECU QUARTIER PAS RASSURANT

Each booking detail is made solely by the person reserving the room, we do not change anything in your reservation other than floor location. I apologize that you had overbooked the amount of rooms you needed and I hope we were able to help solve your issue.

This place is the pits. If I had a remolded room, which I did, I would hate to see an old room. No security lock on the door, the parking lot is small and unlit, in a seedy part of town. There is also no over night person working. Went to check out in the morning and lobby door was locked. Would not stay here again.

As advertised we are not open 24/7 but are open 7a-11p during the summer months, and do have emergency numbers posted to call if you need assistance. As noted on the back of your room door we do have procedures if you wish to check-out while we are not open, and can always call us to let us know if you have any questions if we are not available at the desk to answer them.

Room was clean. But very noisy, vehicle traffic, bathroom fan turned on with the light and rattled the entire room, this was a first floor room, the overhead joists squeaked with every step of our second floor neighbors.

We are checking all bathroom fans for noise as we are closed during the off season. We hope to have found this fan and have it fixed by the time we open this summer.

Very Poorly Cleaned Room

This was the mostly poorly cleaned room that I was forced to stay in for a very long time. Just about all areas were either untouched (for a long time) or was not paid attention to. The sheets and towels were old and stained with very unappealing appearance. The bathroom was disgusting. It was very, very poorly cleaned with urine on the commode and dried urine on the floor. The tub had scum buildup from about two weeks of not being cleaned. The countertops in the bathroom and outside were both barely dusted. The mirror was also untouched. We spoke to the front desk and she helped with clean sheets and towels. My wife felt compelled to clean the room herself. We learned that the hotel owner is using untrained staff members to clean the rooms. Additionally, the supervisor who was responsible for checking room cleanliness, did check our room, and identified it as having no problems. This is a very poorly managed hotel.

We are sorry to hear about your stay, upon checking your room the items described were not there. We found perhaps instead that you may have wanted a hotel with more amenities that we could not provide and therefor anything we did would not make you happy. I can assure you that all of our housekeeping has been properly trained and our rooms are checked thoroughly.

Looks pleasantly deceiving

Pour : proximity to Black Hills, Badlands, etc.
Contre : Room needs an iron and ironing board
Emplacement : Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, small towns, Custer State Park, Badlands, Black Hills, etc. Too much to list
Great little motel with spacious and clean rooms. Good place to stay for one or multiple nights. The Exterior gives the impression of an older, more run-down motel; however, when guests open the door, the room is a welcoming sight.
