We always enjoy our stay at the Mission Inn and Spa. Checking in is a breeze. The hotel is convenient to the shops and restaurants we enjoy. The only downside is the valet service upon checkout. Turtles move faster.

Customer service was horrible. Our room key did not work and after going back and forth three times, turned out the lock was broken. Front desk does not communicate with each other and then blamed us for their incompetence. When we finally got into our room with our 2 year old, there was a band right outside our room. It was so loud we could hardly hear ourselves talk. We complained to the front desk and they told us to call the non emergency line but they they could do nothing about it. Such a disappointing stay

Had a good time but wouldn't stay again.
Great atmosphere and quite a vast amount of shops around. My only dislike was that it was so annoying to hear the footsteps of whoever was staying upstairs. Also every time a door would open and or close from the other roooms the noise would travel to my room making it quite tedious.

It’s an old old hotel that’s had many upgrades but still has old bathrooms and living space. Doors and windows rattle, noise from the surroundings venues and long walks from the old elevator. The check in was insane. I waited 1/2 hour behind one person while she and the desk clerk conversed. The desk clerk explained her computer was slow and she was tired because she was at school all day. Asked for 2 queen size beds and was assured that our room had them but the room had a single king. The surroundings are nice and historic but my suggestion would be come here to view the history and stay in a more modern hotel.

Unique stay, building will not disappoint. Awesome to explore its the whole block size with so much history. Pictures don’t do it justice. Bed super comfortable.
