Price was ok considering the location Of the hotel but, Phone ínside the room did not work, lost power the first night, room was very outdated and there was a big commercial vacuum shop inside the bathroom taking a lot of space and it looked awful and also there were washer and dryer in the room but wasn’t able to use them not sure why we had to use the hotel’s laundry room which was hard to get the tokens because everytime I went to the front desk it was empty they always had a sign of gone for break even after waiting for more than an hour I would go back they they still be gone. Room could definitely be remodel and or updated and last few days there were noises very loud from an adjacent room we couldn’t stay inside watching tv because it was just too loud.

YOU COULD BE 5 STARS, IMPROVE THAT!!
Publié le 19 août 2024 sur HotelsI'll start with the building: poorly maintained, with only one elevator working for two days without any apparent reason. You won't have the pool shown in the photos, and you won't have it anytime soon; I clearly heard someone who seems to be the manager say that they "will try to have it ready by May 2025." The bar simply doesn't work. The cafe:expensive. The gym: at least 5 machines out of service. People walk through the hallways at 4.AM shouting without respecting others' sleep. Upstairs neighbors: excessive noise with their feet, moving furniture, etc.The door to the beach: you'll depend on a doorman because your electronic keys won't work. The staff: attentive, helpful. The room: could easily be 5 stars—excellent view, comfortable, very clean bed linens and
towels, excellent communication with the property manager (just a note, in any hotel
around the world, guests are usually offered up to 2 hours post-checkout time; you didn't do this for me, using the excuse that the cleaning company was coming, which I assume would be with the punctuality typical of the locals...). With a little help from someone with a bit of good taste, the room could have a 5 stars beautiful ambiance. The price is reasonable; it's hard to find something cheaper in San Juan, especially with the comfort and security offered.
I think the city is overrated.

Management informed that pool should be open by December 2024. We will update the site accordingly. Prices reflected the closing of the pool. Yes we have direct access to the beach.Thanks for choosing us at Mare St. Clair beach hotel.

Wonderful and relaxing time
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HotelsMy wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay at mare hotel/condo friendly staff all around make you feel comfortable and very helpful good communication mare is right on the beach once you exit out the back pretty convenient supermarket main street eateries the room was clean will definitely come back worth the cost

The location was near shopping, eateries and the beach. There is direct access to the beach and laundry on the premises. Easy check in and reserved parking in a secure parking garage. There is a gym and concierge service as needed.

My stay at Mare 1562 is the best place to stay with comfort, cleanliness, friendliness with such a beautiful view. Accessible to many shops, markets & restaurants. i Love my Island!!
