Nice little space,comfartable bed, clean, nice little patio with hammoc. Hot water was warm (could take shower without turning on the cold water). Breakfast can be done, but not much more. There is no parking for this property, you have to park where ever you can park in the streets. If you plan of having food inside, keep it in a sealed container or the fridge, after a few days, a colony of ants invited themself on the counter through the window. Threw every thing in the garbage. Although almost impossible (someone would have to get to the door while you are inside), you can physically be locked inside the room, as the lock on the door is repalced with a lock on the outside, that is commonly used to lock dispaly cabinets or similar objets.

Thank you for your time André. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay- please know that we would never recommend to leave food outside in the open, as this is a Tropical Climate. Additionally, locking oneself into the room as no other guests have access to this door other than you & any other guests that you may bring- as stated on the pamphlet we provided. Would love to host you again!

The apartment is located in an urban area and doesn’t have assigned parking spaces, but it is cozy and clean… so we didn’t mind until we noticed the air unit doesn’t work in the master room, you also don’t have anyone to help you and the only communication you have is through a message board with someone on the other side of it telling you to sleep on the sofa bed. The price I paid for one night and no air is unfair. I should of read the reviews before staying. I would not book this again

While we do not advertise assigned parking spaces, public street parking is available free of charge.Regarding the air conditioning issue, we regret that it occurred late at night when our maintenance team was not on duty, but we did offer to address the issue first thing in the morning. We also suggested using the queen size sofa bed in the living room, where the AC was functioning properly, as a temporary solution. Our records indicate that we responded promptly to your messages to ensure swift communication.We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback, which is invaluable in helping us improve our services. Better skip this property

The apartment is in a dark street by a freeway. Water was cut off twice during our stay and the windows did not close properly so plenty of mosquitoes day and night. The owner offered to send a handyman to sort out the windows… our plan was to go on vacation not deal with repairs and handymen…for the price I thought the place could have been cleaner and in better repair. We moved to a hotel and there the windows closed so this is possible in San Juan, perhaps not at this apartment. The entrance of the building is quite horrible, needs a coat of paint and a better door.

When you first reported this issue, we explained how to properly close the windows and offered to send a handyman to assess and address the situation promptly. However, we did not receive any further communication from you regarding this matter, and we were left with no opportunity to resolve it to your satisfaction. We understand that having our handyman attend to the issue in your unit might have been an inconvenience. However, it would have certainly been a very quick and easy fix. We conducted a thorough check of all windows to confirm that they were functioning correctly and closing smoothly. We would have been delighted to have a member of our team demonstrate the proper way to close the windows, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay.The city-wide water outage that occurred during your stay was unfortunately beyond our control. We would like to mention that we have installed a large backup water tank for such occasions so that our guests are not left without water. We advised you and our other guests to conserve water until the city supply was restored. We understand the inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.Regarding the building's entrance, we appreciate your feedback about its appearance, and we will certainly consider your comments as we work to enhance the overall experience for our guests. We would like to point out that we have never received any negative feedback about it from our previous guests, as our many past reviews can testify. After a long day of travel this place had everything we needed. Coffee, water, laundry detergent. Loved this place. Would stay again.

Property was spacious, clean and welcoming. Abandoned building across the street was not so welcoming. Property description should tell more about the urban location. It may not be what all travelers are looking for.

Our location is clearly stated on our property's main page, however, we do agree that our neighborhood certainly has more of an urban vibe and may not be the right choice for everyone. This said we recommend staying here if you are seeking a more authentic Puerto Rican experience, away from big box hotels and the typical tourist traps. We are located less than a 10 minutes walk from Ocean Park beach and just a few steps from the well-known Calle Loiza, famous for its great local restaurants and bar/club scene. We also provide all of our guests with a digital guest guide, full of great recommendations on the best places in our neighborhood.
