Publié le 24 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was nice, showing some age but nice and quiet, the inside was clean but deck and exterior not so much. In the master bedroom we found wet spots on the carpet, proceeded to see water dripping from the ceiling all weekend, there was a cover taken down from roof so I assume someone knows about issue. Dripping sound
made it VERY hard to sleep, Friday morning I reached out on vrbo website with a question about check in... just got a check out response today 4 days late. Disappointing to not get a response all weekend, and the key code and lock box was very confusing,

Great vacation home.

Great place but needs a little tlc
Publié le 22 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayVisited Shaver Lake for an early snowy Christmas. The location of house was perfect. There was plenty of space to play in the backyard. House was the perfect size. This house did have some cons. The upstairs sofa beds were just springs, you’re not able to sleep on them. House was full of cobwebs, the tvs are outdated, kitchen floor was dirty, the gas stove burns very slow and the light on oven goes out. But overall had a great time.

Didn’t stay because National Forest closed but was charged full rent.
Publié le 7 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayEven though California closed the adjacent national forest a few days before our stay the owner would not refund or reschedule our stay. They said the property was still accessible. But for what? To sit there are stare out the windows?
I had to pay for the full time even though I didn’t stay there. No point with the National Forest being closed.

Great location, good property
Publié le 1 févr. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here in December 2020. The house was big enough for 12 of us to stay. The kids had a great time.
Few small things I noticed. The house looks really big in the photos but the living area is slightly smaller. Few blinds in the master bedroom were broken, so it was too much bright light early in the morning. The sofa beds in the other bedroom upstairs were not comfortable to sleep. For a short stay that may be okay. For the trash, I had to call the property manager and he mentioned that the trash had to be packed in bags and left in the house.
Overall we all had a good time here.
