Beautiful retreat

They even offer a Tesla to rent! Everything was lovely. The view, the large hot tub, the firepit. We didn't want to leave!

This review took me by surprise as after 3.5 years of hosting, it is my only 4 star review.
I left a message privately and still hope for a reply as your concern is very serious to us. If there is any way to remedy it, we appreciate the feedback to do so.
My guess is that you were unaware that we have 2 suites at the time of booking. You did mention to me that you were unable to log back in to VRBO shortly after making the reservation. I will be updating my listing to ensure future guests have more clear expectations at the time of booking.
Doug and I have poured heart and soul into building our home with 2 stylish vacation suites. We feel blessed to have this beautiful property and love to share it with our amazing guests.
The only area of our property that guests may encounter one another is the covered patio area. That was the impetus of creating multiple outdoor areas.
This spring, we finished our landscaping project to add more sitting areas (total of 4) for our guests to use and more flowers for the deer to snack on.
If there is ever a concern from a guest, please know that we will be pro active in finding a solution. But we can only do so if you tell us.

Charming suite with lovely view
Publié le 27 avr. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe are experienced travellers and rate this suite as a very special one. It is quiet ,has a lovely view and is well equipped and comfortable.
You must have a car but access is easy from the BC ferry and it is 15 minutes to Sidney a small pleasant town.
It is also 15 minutes to The Deep Cove Chalet, one of our favourite special restaurants. Book very early!

Beautiful retreat setting
Publié le 22 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayFrom the moment we entered the one bedroom apartment we knew we would enjoy a lovely experience. Beautifully furnished with special attention to detail and design, it was a pleasure to stay here.
The view and location of the home gave it a retreat like setting and we loved seeing deer on the lawn and the Swartz Bay ferry sailing by. It reminded us of the BC property we once owned.
Minutes away from the town of Sidney we enjoyed many restaurants and walks along the waterfront. We had the opportunity to meet our hosts Krista and Doug. Congratulations on your new venture. It will certainly delight all your future guests. With our thanks to you both.

First time in North Saanich

Thank you for the review Lynn. We certainly love watching the ferry go by. I am disappointed for you that the weather was too cold for the covered patio area. It is usually a nice experience with the fire table lit. I have invested in patio blankets for future guests. Thanks for the feedback!
