Even though it’s end of the season we had a sweet family of hummingbirds that were active all day. The wildflowers were crazy! Hiking and exploring this beautiful area was just what we needed.

The BEST place to Relax!
Publié le 20 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWE had a ringside seat to hummers and so many birds that we didn't want to leave the front porch! The view of the horses and watching them every day was all we needed. This was the perfect retreat and a jump off place for other Gila Wilderness activities that you might enjoy. Can't say enough nice things about Lauren and Tim's great spread! We plan to come back when we need that great dose of peace.

Spotless
Publié le 1 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayHaving been a VRBO owner ourselves, we so appreciated the cleanliness. King bed and pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen could have used more utensils, like a spatula, tongs, BBQ tools, etc. Overall, the tranquility of this beautiful property, and cleanliness was perfect. We hiked the Purgatory trail down the road from the cabin, had a picnic, at Lake Robert, & played games. We’ll be back!!

Thank you for being an awesome guest and I hope you had a lovely birthday, Kathi! I wish you would have dropped me a note, as there is a full BBQ utensil set in a zippered case on the shelf in the laundry area (on the corner shelf to the right of the remote control candles), and a drawer with two spatulas, two sets of tongs, wooden spoons, and more utensils in the kitchen (the drawer directly to the right of the silverware). I'll have to add that to the house manual for future visitors. I apologize that I didn't get to meet you, as I was under the weather and didn't want to expose you all to it. Hope that you come back again as we'd love to host you again!

Beautiful Forest Cabin
Publié le 26 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat a wonderful vacation in the Gila Forest! Cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Patios were just perfect for relaxing and watching the wildlife. The ranch is in a great location for exploring the area and has wonderful forest access right out the back door. This is a great place to get away from city and enjoy some quiet time in the forest. Lauren and Tim were excellent hosts and we look forward to returning again!

Hidden little gem
