Great location
Publié le 14 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were visiting Solvang for a family wedding. This house was a perfect retreat for a mini-vacation. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, shops and a market. We would stay here again on our next visit.

Such a nice, well-appointed property! Everything was excellent. Only thing I would mention is that all bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. This was very nice to allow people to visit on the 1st floor while others slept on the 2nd floor. But if stairs are a problem for you, take that into consideration.

Publié le 15 août 2024 sur HomeAwayModern and very comfortable 2-story, three bedroom house. Super close to downtown Solvang with all of the tourist attractions within walking distance. A very minimal yard with a hot tub which we did use once but we were basically too busy in town to care. Very close to the other three homes, but everybody was very quiet and this is in a very quiet neighborhood, even though it’s so close to downtown.

The best thing about the property was its proximity to all of Solvang's restaurants and shopping - all literally minutes away on foot. That was unexpected; I thought I would have to drive. The house itself was great. Very clean and everything in good working order. The garage is definitely tight length-wise. A mid-size SUV can fit in with about 10 inches to spare. Anyway, we were told about this before the stay. We had one car parked in the garage and the other parked by the front door.

Much better than a hotel!
