The house was clean and just what we were looking for for our trip to Acadia. Walked into town for dinner & icecream which was nice. Unfortunately while we were there we noticed a gas leak in the kitchen. The host was very responsive and professional, sending a technician the next day who was able to turn off the gas. No fault of the host, but definitely took away from our overall trip having to worry about that. Otherwise property was well maintained.

Really comfortable & Clean!

Plenty of space to relax in the evening, and cook dinner in, after a long day hiking. The house was clean, neat, and well equipped. Host was very responsive. Close enough drive to many restaurants, lobster shacks, trails, etc. Its on a main road, but we never heard traffic noise. We appreciated the ‘quietside’ ,Southwest Harbor.

Wedding weekend

Quietside
Publié le 27 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the proximity to Southwest Harbor, Echo Lake, and a sweet little quilt shop across the street! The hikes of Acadia & Bar Harbor were close by via car, and we enjoyed staying away from the summer crowds on the Quiet Side! The beds were comfy & all the amenities were great.

Great looking little bungalow!
