Given that this is an *economy* inn, it was quite clean and nice, thus 5 stars. I was a little concerned at first just given economy places' general reputations, but it was clean, the shower had good pressure and hot water, the A/C ran well, and the mini fridge and microwave did their thing. My only qualms, really, are minor- the mattress was quite firm, pillows were flat, there was no plug for the bathtub, and a couple of the clientele were a bit questionable. Overall, though, I was pleasantly surprised.

NEVER AGAIN
Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HotelsTo start off, there was road construction going on outside the hotel all night. The bed in the room was uncomfortable to sat the least. It made a noise anytime someone sat on it or got up. The table in the room was very questionable. It wiggled and moved more than the mismatch chairs pushed up to it. There wasn't but one wash cloth and 2 towels in the room. When i went to the front desk to ask for more, the owner argued with me about how many were supposed to be in the room before giving me 2 more towels and 2 wash cloths. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and the drywall was cracked in there. The water pressure was very low. Overall this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed at. I highly recommend not staying at this hotel.

This is a great place to stay in a beautiful mountain town. Downtown Sylva is walkable from the hotel and full of dining and shopping options. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Good stopover

Where to begin. The minute we walked in our room, the smell almost knocked me out. It was SO strong. It was a horrible mix of some stinky food, sewage, and some fragrance/cleaner that was trying to mask it all. The sewage smell was infinitely worse in the bathroom. They use window AC units, which are so loud you cannot hear the TV unless its blasting. The bedding needs to be completely replaced (mattress, pillows, sheets, etc.). There were some stains on the sheets. Honestly the entire place needs new furniture, to be aired out, and deep cleaned, and that would be just a start.

Cheap but clean. I’d go gack
