Large beautiful property, but very run down
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe were really looking forward to enjoying what looked like a really magical place to stay, and probably at one point was! What we found was a really run down and neglected property being rented out while owners attempt to sell. The biggest issue overall was certainly cleanliness. Many portions of the property haven’t been maintained or cared for in years. There was no hot tub as listed. The BBQ wouldn’t light (not due to propane). The stove hadn’t been cleaned in many uses and was quite disgusting.
We made the best of a bad situation but if you’re renting this property for an event, you’ll need to clean it yourself of hire cleaners and do some landscaping yourself for it to be presentable. Overall, not worth the money. The cost was no where near the quality of venue.

The perfect farm house getaway
Publié le 7 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved staying at this property. It is full of character and has amazing spaces. The openness of the kitchen, vastness of the bedrooms and high ceilings are incredible but don’t take away from the homey and comfortable feeling of the house.

Super Nice Host

Marie's property was fantastic, way better experience than seen online. My family enjoyed every bit of the property and Marie's kind hosting. She was always there, just a phone call away. Along with the house and property itself, we have also enjoyed fresh organic vegetables from Marie's Garden and fresh eggs from the farm. Thanks to Marie, John and Bruce to make such a wonderful memorable family get together. Also easy access to a big supermarket, Grocery store, 4 series Highway, golf courses, restaurants and many more..... We would highly recommend this wonderful quiet place for family get together. We would definitely come again!!

Amazing weekend get away property

We had a small family wedding by the pond, lunch in a rented tent set up on the lawn by the house and lots of fun later with games and a bonfire on the back part of the property . There was so much to do! Everyone loved it ! The living space in the house was spacious with nice large bedrooms. We had 12 adults in the house, comfortably. The bathrooms are newly updated, beds comfortable and the kitchen was a great place to hang out and cook. Marie, the host was accommodating in every request that I asked for. I was so happy that I found this property, and we would all come back in a heart beat.!
