Tres bel hotel au coeur d une végétation luxuriante, au calme et proche des rizières.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.
Le petit-déjeuner est tres bon et le restaurant aussi.

Notre découverte du "BeingSattvaa"
Publié le 25 juin 2015 sur HotelsNous avons eu quelque mal à trouver l'hôtel BeingSattvaa qui, de fait, est à 10 mn (en voiture) au nord d'Ubud, sans aucune indication routière.
Une fois découvert, l'hôtel se révèle un véritable enchantement, luxe, calme et volupté.... Il y a un raffinement dans les détails (par exemple : serviettes propres pliées sur le lit tous les jours en forme d'animal, éléphants, cygne, etc..) incroyable. Le personnel est aussi d'une extrême amabilité, en particulier M. Suwena, qui vous accompagnera pour une randonnée dans les rizières (sans supplément) si vous en faites la demande.
Cela étant, vous l'aurez peut-être remarqué à son nom, BeingSattvaa" n'est pas un simple hôtel : c'est un "statement" en soi. Etre "Sattvaa", c'est, semble-t-il, toute une philosophie de l'harmonie et de l'équilibre issue de l'hindouisme (mais je ne suis pas du tout un spécialiste de la question. C'est donc un hôtel "retreat" qui se veut hors du bruit et de l'excitation d'Ubud, pour proposer - éventuellement, mais ce n'est pas obligatoire - un lieu de retraite, pourquoi pas de méditation. De fait, des cours de yoga y sont dispensés, la nourriture servie au restaurant est exclusivement végétarienne (et je ne crois pas qu'on serve de l'alcool, encore que je n'aie pas demandé).
En résumé, passez votre chemin si vous cherchez l'excitation, la musique, les soirées arrosées. Si vous recherchez le calme et le raffinement, c'est là qu'il vous faut aller.

We really enjoyed our stay from the morning yoga and the freshly made breakfast, to the wild monkeys that visited in the trees outside our room. The staff was very accommodating and took great care of us. The location was a bit away from town but just enough. We were able to enjoy the quiet and peace and grab a quick ride into downtown Ubud for shopping and dining.

A quiet and relaxing jungle retreat a few minutes away from the bustle of Ubud town. Excellent vegetarian only food, free daily yoga and super staff. What's not to like?

Food was divine- always fresh and remarkably tasty. Great selection. Breakfast was also included which was great. Loved the smoothie bowls. It was a vegetarian restaurant. Loved the local
Cuisine options at the restaurant and the soups - truly delicious.
Super tranquil and beautiful grounds the flora and fauna here are great to see. Loved the frogs and birds and monkeys as the resort is set against the rainforest!
The pool is beautiful to swim in.
Customer service fantastic and loved how staff were there to pick us up from airport and take us to another hotel when we were done and be our personalised tour guide. All for small fee. We couldn’t have seen Bali easily without their support.
Room was lovely very comfy bed and beautiful surrounds. Loved the outdoor shower and toilet etc.
Near enough to Ubud town but a bit removed from the hustle of the main streets, which gives the resort a more authentic jungle villa feel.
Yoga included every morning at 7am at no extra cost - very good experience and instructors were very good.

- In the woods, you feel the rainforest from the resort

The staff and the service was excellent, except that the food orders took longer than expected. The bathrooms and beds were clean. The property can use some upgrades, wood wardrobe was creaky and smelling of mold. Wifi can use some boosters too

At Being Sattvaa you feel well taken care of without feeling bombarded or pressurized. The staff is discrete,elegant, subtle and efficient. If you need something, they are available but you never feel they are obtrusive. In this respect , they have reached the perfect balance. The atmosphere is heavenly, peaceful and quiet. The rooms are lovely and the design is totally integrated with its surroundings. They have yoga classes every morning which we were not able to take advantage of but plan on enjoying on our next stay. This hotel is top notch, no doubt about it.

I absolutely loved this property. It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I love the natural environment, the beautiful gardens and all the facilities. My villa was exquisite, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and bath, all amenities, including a plunge pool. I also felt welcomed and very cared for by all the staff, including Subba and Renuka. They have truly created a very rare and special retreat site.
