Quiet time on the lake
Publié le 17 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy daughter and I needed some quiett time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was nice to cook out each night, spend some time on the lake and had coffee and fires down by the lake. The home was just perfect for two people.

Relaxing getaway

Absolutely adorable!
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe just returned from 3 nights at this little cutie. We travel all over lower Michigan and always rent via VRBO. I have to say Tammy's rental was in our top 2 of all of our stays because it was so clean and cozy. We got to enjoy a day swimming and floating with some wine and soaking up the sun. The little lake was just peaceful and serene. We spent an afternoon visiting my favorite little lake town of St. Joe, too. The best part of this little trip was bringing our fur baby, Ruby, and just having quiet quality time together. Tammy is a fantastic host and even left a bottle of wine for us when we arrived. We can't say thank you enough for a special anniversary weekend away. We will return again without a doubt!

Relaxing little Cottage on the lake

Secluded Lakeside Guest Cottage
Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayEver wished you had a relative with a small lakeside guest cottage. Well, that is what our stay at Tammy's cottage felt like. Specifically, Tammy worked with us on 1) an early check-in, 2) setting up her backup generator during a day long, widespread power outage and 3) allowing us to continue to use her kayaks after we checked out (for the remaining 3 days of our stay in the area). She also offered to let us continue to swim at her raft and swim mat for these 3 days as well.
We felt very welcomed. We plan to return next summer.

Adorable place for some r&r with the dog!
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time relaxing, soaking up the sun by the lake and talking under the shaded gazebo. Our dog, Colbie, had several swims and launched herself from the dock to get her ball (with her doggie life vest of course!) The property was so clean. The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. Our dog also enjoyed the large fenced in yard. The ONLY thing we wish was a little better was access to restaurants and shops. You have to drive several miles for that. We loved our time here and hope to be back again!!
