Great house
Posted Sep. 4, 2023 on HomeAwayThe house was perfect for our trip! It had everything we needed. Very clean and nice! It was just a short walk to our dock/boat where the view was so pretty! Theres a small grocery just down the road wear you can get any forgotten items or ice.

Great Location/Accommodations
Posted Jul. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayOverall great spot - the location was key for our stay with other family in the area. The unit was used for overflow and worked out great. Loved the spacious fridge and the shower had great water pressure. The unit comes with access to the lake which is convenient just a short walk away. Owner is very responsive - check-in/out super easy. I would reserve again with no hesitations.

Nice king bed in one room that was listed as a queen. Pier is just a short walk from house, clean comfortable house, large fire pit bring your fire tools can't controll the weather

Comfortable accommodation overall
Posted Jun. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayMy dog and we’re very happy to find a pet friendly rental in the area. Some disappointing things were: I did not feel quite clean after my shower due to the water’s strange smell, the mattress was firmer than I like and the microwave had a plastic lid inside so I didn’t believe it was cleaned before I arrived.
The curtains are all very thin so they did not block much light when I needed to sleep. The shower has a frosted window inside which made me feel uncomfortable.
The toilet is very close to the counter and the shower, which could be an issue if a guest has a mobility problem.
On the bright side, the Wi-Fi was good and the air conditioning worked well.

Hi Elisa! It is unfortunate you did not mention a single one of those issues to me during your stay so I could help put your mind at ease! The water is well water, there is nothing unclean about it but it can occasionally have a slight naturally occurring sulphuric odor due to it not being treated with chlorine and a host of other chemicals that city supplied water can have. The plastic lid you are referring to is meant to be in the microwave to help you cover food and keep splatters contained. It was definitely cleaned!
Thank you for your input on the curtains and the mattress! I will take those to heart as I continue looking to improve my home.
Everything else is the design of the house itself, so there’s not much I can do about where the toilet or window are located but rest assured the window has privacy film that only allows light into the bathroom, and in more than 50 guests through other hosting sites the toilets location or the window has not been an issue for anyone.
