Quiet solitude
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at the River access cabin for 5 nights with our 2 doggies and had such a nice time. The absence of traffic noise at night time while listening to whippoor wills was glorious. We enjoyed Bob fires, hot tubbing, lazy days at the lake in the trout pond recreational area and a hike to Cranny Crow overlook in Lost River State Park. We took some adorable #almostheaven photos on the swing at the top.
The cabin is well appointed with various cookware, WiFi and a smart tv which we never used. The air conditioner works well and was a blessing as we arrived for a week of over 90* days. I had hoped to get some stellar stargazing in with my new telescope but the nights were not cooperative. We couldn’t bring our suv due to car trouble but we were able to access the property with my little Nissan Sentra. That said, something with more ground clearance and more horsepower would have been ideal for the steep gravel roads.

Lovely stay in WV
Publié le 14 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayHad a nice stay at Tony's cabin. kids ran around the yard and visited the creek. We took advantage of the games and fire pit. the cabin is a bit remote, but enjoyed every minute. good communication and high value.

quick romantic getaway
Publié le 11 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwaya relaxing weekend getaway for my spouse and I, we really enjoyed the grill and hot tub, the Adirondack chairs by the fire were really great. The cabin itself is updated and super clean. The cabin is a bit remote, but that was the allure!

Rustic chic cabin/cottage in the woods with hot tub and fire pit
Publié le 10 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at this cabin with our teen kids. we bbq'd, watched movies, and used the hot tub. Tony was a gracious host and communication was great. We had lots of questions and they answered all of them.
