What you can expect

Explore Mazatlán’s most historic sites on this guided tour, including the city’s observatory building. Take a ride on a funicular railway and visit Cerro del Vigia, Mazatlan’s museum, the Mexican Bird Sanctuary, and more.

Get picked up from your hotel and immediately start enjoying views of the streets of Mazatlán, including the famous Malecón (Mazatlán’s boardwalk).

First, stop at the observatory, a building that was built by the people of Mazatlán as a military observation post. This building served the city to protect it from the constant incursions of enemy ships.

Next, experience the city’s history on a funicular ride and admire the port from the top of the Cerro del Vigia.

Once at the top of the Cerro del Vigia, enter the museum to watch a short film about Mazatlán's history. Afterwards, visit El Nido, the bird sanctuary, to learn about rescued birds in a space of care and education.

Heading back to your hotel, admire the streets of Mazatlán’s city centre while your guide shares more fun facts about the city.
