Area around property is run down, lots of construction and had a homeless problem. People sleeping in the underground parking area and in public spaces around hotel. Felt unsafe walking to local venues and restaurants.

Comfortable and convenient location.
I found our stay quite comfortable. Our room was clean, quite and comfortable. I found the staff friendly and helpful. There was no signage , however I knew that before hand. So I knew that I had to really look for it. I was a bit uncomfortable with the homeless hanging around, but they didn't bother us.one elevator was down which at certain times of the day was an inconvenience. I also did not understand why they had a security guard there in the daytime, sitting on his phone and not one at night. You would think that would be when you need one. Over all a good experience. I would probably stay again.

The Allure was clean and service was friendly and efficient. Many details such as a damaged light shade and wall anchors from previous wall hangings make the space seem unkept and uncomfortable raising the question,” what else is not fixed or attended to?” Dundas street is in dire need of a revival

Giant spider in my room above the door which means its been there a while. Noticeable amount of hair on the bedside table. Wallpaper curling up in multiple areas on multiple floors. The snack machine did not work. Breakfast offering were passable but sub-par compared to most other hotels although the attendant was quick and pleasant. The amount of air freshener in the stairwell leading to the back parking lot was gag-making!
