Spent 15 minutes here and drove home.
We did not end up sleeping here. This place is very affordable, but I could have had a bigger room at a hotel with more amenities for $50 more. The rooms are tiny, built onto the back of a house. This is not shown in any of the pictures on the listing. To get to the “suites” you have to walk by the owner’s junk, and there is a lot of scattered junk around the property. I will say the walkways were kept clear. Very sketchy check in procedure of the host taking a picture of the front and back of your credit card on their phone to hold for a damage deposit. I do understand they are well within their rights to hold a damage deposit, but their method made me very uncomfortable. It was not secure at all. We spent 15 minutes in our room after checking in. The room was clean but very rundown. The rooms are on the back side of the house facing a busy road and the road noise was noticeable. We also heard someone coughing a lot through the very thin walls. We went to dinner, and decided we would rather drive the 2 hours home than stay there. Our review is 3 stars based on affordability and location as we did not sleep there and cannot attest to the noise level at night or the comfort of the bed.
