Nice property in a great, quiet spot next to the River Dee. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly.
Meals were excellent.
All round a great place to stay.

Lovely hotel, although the rooms which haven’t been updated are tired and needing renovated. The restaurant food is lovely but in my opinion overpriced.
We were there for a family wedding we had a room with a beautiful riverside view. This was cheaper to book through Hotels.com than direct with the hotel. Our room was lovely with a stunning bathroom. The hotel staff were really friendly. The hotel is currently being re decorated and is looking good but some of the carpets need updating and could cause trips. Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Overall would thoroughly recommend.
Friendly staff, beautiful room overlooking the river. High standard of cleanliness. Room had coffee/tea making facilities and lovely shortbread. Fridge containing milk and water. Slippers and dressing gowns provided. Hairdryer and ironing board with clothes brush. Great Molton Brown toiletries provided. Food was exquisite.
It was my second stay here and it did not disappoint. Definitely my new go to hotel before I go to work.

Lovely tucked away hotel, however close enough to Aberdeen, Banchory & surrounding areas. Ideal for country walks & a quiet country escape

Arrived in the evening during the month of November. Lighting in the car park area could do with improvement. Otherwise hotel is very nice indeed with friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed here for my husbands birthday treat and on entering the room (with terrace, which I would recommend - the bathroom is also very clean and spacious) he was presented with some home made chocs on a slate wishing him a happy birthday. Which was a lovely touch. The food was excellent- I would recommend Rock Turbet with sampfire. Service was excellent throughout. This was our 2nd visit and we will hopefully be back soon.
My stay was lovely, thank you. The only down side was rude guests which obviously you can’t help. But at check in but 2 different guests pushed in in front of me and 1 was allowed to by the check in staff and then the second was told it was my turn.
