The hotel served its purpose, could have been better. Also very windy on the pool level especially if dining outside due to private events inside the restaurant. Also position of the pool doesn't get too much sun during the day. Also some hotel website details don't match up to what they actually do in the hotel. ie: resturant open and close times

Extended Business Stay
Stayed at Sofitel Corniche for 10 days and then a further 4 days after a quick trip to Riyadh. The room for the first stay was on the 23rd floor, facing the sea and was spacious and well fit out. The room on the 10th floor for the 2nd stay (4 days) was smaller and had broken fridge but otherwise similar. Both rooms has extensive facilities (bath, shower, toilet, wardrobe and cupboard space, jug, etc The bed was very comfortable in both rooms. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants in the building and I think I tried all of them at various times. Breakfast on the Ground florr had an enormous selection catering for all types of diet. The Thai Restaurant was very good as was the poolside bar and food. If I go back to Abu Dhabi I would definitely stay here.

Large and spacious room and bathroom. Located close to the corniche, if you can handle the heat, I walked to Abu Dhabi beach every morning (30 mins). The pool is nice, but be mindful it doesn’t have any sun - which can be great if you know the UAE heat. But some areas would be nice. There are shuttles that will take you to Corniche Beach, The Louvre and Yas Island. Overall, a nice stay.

We loved this hotel. It was in a terrific location. An easy walk to local restaurants and downtown. The board walk was across the street. It was about an hour walk to the pay beach. However there was a free shuttle from hotel we would take one of the ways to cut down walking time. The staff were friendly and helpful. We booked 2 tours (desert and Dubai) which were great and no issues. The jazz bar was amazing service, drinks and view. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean but dated. There was a strange light in the closet that we couldn't figure out how to turn off. Room cleaning varied. Some days it was terrific while other days they didnt restock the right number of towels and things. Absolutely recommend if staying in Abudhabi. Would stay again.

Excellent hotel in a great location, Super rooms, Complementary bus service every day to the beach, Great customer service by friendly staff and management, Nothing is too much trouble, Fantastic atmosphere and ambiance about the place. Great two swimming pools, Great to sit next to the pool in the evening for food and drinks from the restaurant, One Swimming pool is a hidden gem which is not obvious to find but great spot. Cocktail bar at the top is great with music and great views of the city. I would definitely go back and stay here again. We normally go to Dubai every year and stay at Sofitel on the Palm.
