Excellent vacation. While there are many restaurants on property our favourites were a beautiful walk down the boardwalk in La Caleta. and beside the resort El Mirador.

The hotel location is outstanding in the resort, and the grounds are beautiful and a good balance of sun and shade. The hotel itself rightly earns it's high reputation and we could not fault the quality of accommodation, food or service the entire 9 days we stayed. If we return to the resort, it will be our preferred hotel to return to.

Nice hotel and nice big territory, very green. Hotel staff is great! Amazing breakfast. - There are smoking areas in the hotel, but it seems that the staff is okay with people smoking on their balcony which was very annoying to us as we were not able to sit on our balcony due to smoking nearby. The dedicated smoking area is very close to the sun loungers. - Some rules are not well explained, for example, if the water in the room is complimentary.

We liked the VIP status that was provided. However it could be improved with a more proactive approach by the staff. For example rather than waiting for us to ask they could take our orders. The afternoon tea was good but the evening canopes were a little disappointing. The surroundings were very nice and the facilities good, however we did not like the extensive use of towles in the morning to reserve sun loungers. This problem was reduced a little by having our own VIP terrace, but on our final day was not available because it was used by a wedding.

Review for Bahia del Duque Hotel We’ve just returned from another brilliant week at Bahia del Duque with my partner and our ten-year-old daughter. This place never fails to impress. Our first visit was back in 2016, with a group of five, including my stepson and stepdaughter. Even then, it stood out, but somehow it’s got even better. From the moment you step through the doors, you sense there’s something special about this place. It’s not just about the luxury—it’s the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and, most importantly, the people. The staff here are fantastic. They care about what they do, from the room service team to housekeeping and the management. You can see it in every smile, every greeting, every little extra touch. The traditional Canarian dress they wear adds a unique charm, giving the place a real sense of character. The food is superb. Each restaurant offers a different experience, but Kensei is the standout if you’re after a fine dining experience. It’s not just about the food, which is delicious, by the way; it’s the whole experience—thoughtfully crafted dishes that look as good as they taste. The spa is another gem. Two 90-minute massages, and you’re a new person—totally relaxed, completely rejuvenated. The atmosphere there is so calming, just what you need to unwind. And if you’re up for it, there’s always Padel—great fun and a nice way to keep active. This is a very special place, and worth every penny.
